IsraISRA (Rafique Sk) was reluctant to be stalled inspite of several attempts as such the filly has been permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders, SSC revoked.
GarnetExplanation of Trainer D. Netto with regard to the improved performance of his charge GARNET (G. Naresh) winner of this race as compared to the previous runs that his instructions to the Jockeys were always to go to front and do their best in the straight and his charge in the previous run i.e. Race No. 20 was in front till about 150 mtrs and thereafter dropped back in the final stages of the race as such he instructed the Jockey in this race to hold until about the 300 mtrs and thereafter make his move. The Trainer further added that this being weaker set and also has the advantage of weight of 6 1/2 kgs less as compare to the previous race which has been to her advantage and the filly could go to front easily, set her own pace and could just manage to win the race. The Trainer further added that he has not fancied his charge and was available at longer odds was not accepted and the Trainer was cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit. GARNET (G. Naresh) winner of the race is sampled.
N R I SunExplanation of Jockey B R Kumar (N R I SUN) in the presence of Trainer S. Sreekant that his mount did not show initial speed as such he was forced to travel at the rear end of the field in the initial stages of the race and thereafter he did his best in the straight. The Trainer while confirming the above added that his charge does not have initial speed and the gelding ran to his potential was noted for future reference.

Once MoreONCE MORE (Nakhat Singh) was observed to have lost its right fore shoe during the running of the race. However, the mare was trotting sound after the race.
AibakExplanation of App. Afroz Khan (AIBAK) in the presence of Trainer S. Sreekant that he was denied a clear run soon after the start due to crowding of the runners racing in front as such he could not position his mount well up with the field and in the straight he did his best was not accepted and the App. was severely reprimanded for failing to position his mount to be well up with the field in the initial stages of the race.
Loch StellaLOCH STELLA (C P Bopanna) dropped back from about the 600 mtrs and finished the course distance behind inspite of Jockeys efforts. Trainer K. Satheesh was advised for a better performance in future.

Ali Khan that his instructions were to sit close 3rd/4th and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering straight and thereafter his mount drifted out under pressure in the final 200 mtrs inspite of his best efforts was not accepted and the App. was fined Rs. 3000/ for failing to make sufficient efforts to prevent his mount from drifting out in the final 300 mtrs.
MakhtoobExplanation of Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (MAKHTOOB) that his instructions were to sit close with front bunch and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted.

The Special OneExplanation of Jockey Rohit Kumar (THE SPECIAL ONE) in the presence of Trainer R H Sequeira that his instructions were to sit close with front runners and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and when asked for an effort, his mount did not raise a winning gallop inspite of his best effort was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs.2000/ for failing to persevere with his mount soon after entering straight.
City Of BlossomExplanation of Jockey R Ajinkya (CITY OF BLOSSOM) in the presence of Trainer S. Sreekant that his mount did not show initial speed and gradually gained ground in the straight inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer while confirming the above added that gelding has run to his potential was noted for future reference.
