Horus The GreatTr. Sabeel Shariff was reprimanded for late arrival of his charge HORUS THE GREAT to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. The Trainer was further advised to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future.
SicilySICILY which was fractious to be stalled, fly jumped awkwardly from the gates. Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.

Dandi SatyagrahaDANDI SATYAGRAHA was examined at the starting gates at the request of the Jockey and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. B Mahesh was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Main StreetTr. Ms. Arti Doctor and Jockey Yash Narredu when questioned regarding the running and riding of MAIN STREET, the Trainer stated she had instructed the Jockey to sit last, gradually improve position and to do his best in the straight as last time when the filly was positioned well up with the field, she dropped out in the final stages of the race. Jockey Yash Narredu corroborated the Trainers instructions and further stated that he was sitting behind as instructed, travelling along the rails, was committed to the pace of the race, made his move from the 600 metres but unfortunately his mount did not quicken enough as expected by him. The Stipendiary Stewards not being satisfied with the explanations tendered by the Jockey decided to fine him a sum of Rs. 50,000/ for riding an ill judged race.
Amber KnightAMBER KNIGHT missed the jump.

3 (115) THE CALCUTTA MILLION (2024-25) (GR.3)

KyotoKYOTO was very difficult to load. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.
MagnificoMAGNIFICO was slow to begin and finished detached from the field. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the colt and submit his report. On examination the colt was found to be lame on left hind. Tr. Aashay Doctor was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

4 (117) THE ARISEN HANDICAP

Jean LafetteJockey Vivek G (JEAN LAFETTE) reported loss of whip passing the 400 metres and stated that his mount was hanging out from the top of the straight. As the gelding had behaved in a similar manner in its last outing, Tr. B Mahesh was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.
AmalfitanaAMALFITANA was slow to begin losing approximately 2 – 3 lengths at the start.
Italian GoldITALIAN GOLD was fractious in its stall.
