Saqlain, dr.9) leaned inwards onto HAGIBIS resulting in the latter to jostle with KANYA RASHI (C. S. Jodha, dr.6) causing them to be steadied.. After the race, HAGIBIS was trotted at the stables and found to be sound and KANYA RASHI was observed to have an injury on left hind bulb of heel.
India StrongPassing the 600 metres, SHOWMAN (App. Mustakim Alam) shifted out thereby carrying INDIA STRONG (Prashant P. Dhebe) outwards thereafter approaching the 500 metres, INDIA STRONG shifted in and went across SHOWMAN racing on its haunches causing the latter to check and drop back. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe has been fined Rs.5,000/.

Storm CloudAt the request of Trainer Narendra Lagad, STORM CLOUD was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 09:30 a.m. on 14th September 2024, at the stables and was found to be sore by right hind, as such, the colt was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
SuperimposePassing the 150 metres, SUPERIMPOSE (App. N. Bhosale) leaned inwards onto TOSCANA (T. S. Jodha). App. N. Bhosale has been cautioned.
ToscanaTOSCANA (T. S. Jodha, dr.6) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Aman Altaf Hussain has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. Fast PacePassing the 200 metres, IT’S MY TIME (Akshay Kumar) shifted in under urgings and went across FAST PACE (Vivek G.) causing the latter to be checked. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey Akshay Kumar has been fined Rs.2,000/.

Golden NeilPassing the 250 metres, GOLDEN NEIL (App. Mustakim Alam) was observed to have lost its footing and thereafter fell along with the rider. Further, the Sr. V.O. reported that the gelding had broken both fore fetlock joints. Hence, with the due consent of Trainer Narendra Lagad, the gelding was euthanized on humanitarian grounds.
Royal MysoreAfter the race, ROYAL MYSORE was observed to have an injury on left hind below hock.
ChopinAfter the race, Jockey Kirtish Bhagat (CHOPIN) reported loss of whip passing the 300 metres. This being the first instance during the current Pune Meeting 2024, no action has been initiated.

DecacornAt the start, MAYSARA (R. Shelar, dr.1) jumped outwards thereby tightening DECACORN (N. S. Parmar, dr.2) who had to be steadied. Jockey R. Shelar has been cautioned.
EloquentThe Equine Hospital reported that ELOQUENT had left eye injury (sore), REDOUBLE had left eye injury (sore) with ulcer and MYSARA had left eye injury (sore).
TriggerAfter the race, NORTHERN SINGER & TRIGGER were trotted and found to be sound and GODDES OF DAWN was observed to have an injury on right nostril.
AttainedATTAINED (Vishal N. Bunde, dr.11) lost about three lengths at the start.
MaysaraAt the start, MAYSARA (R. Shelar, dr.1) jumped outwards thereby tightening DECACORN (N. S. Parmar, dr.2) who had to be steadied. Jockey R. Shelar has been cautioned.
RedoubleThe Equine Hospital reported that ELOQUENT had left eye injury (sore), REDOUBLE had left eye injury (sore) with ulcer and MYSARA had left eye injury (sore).
Northern SingerOn the arrival at the starting gate, at the request of Jockey K. Pranil, NORTHERN SINGER was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. who certified the mare fit to race. NORTHERN SINGER (K. Pranil, dr.5) was fractious after being stalled due to which its bit got displaced. The mare was taken out and the bit was adjusted and thereafter the mare was restalled. Further, the Sr. V.O. reported that the mare had a gum injury. Considering the mare’s behavior, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. After the race, Jockey K. Pranil (NORTHERN SINGER) reported that the saddle used on his mount shifted to the left during the race, due to which he could not ride out his mount to the full advantage. This being the first instance of faulty saddling during the current Pune Meeting 2024, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been fined Rs.2,000/. After the race, NORTHERN SINGER & TRIGGER were trotted and found to be sound and GODDES OF DAWN was observed to have an injury on right nostril.
