Sandesh) shifted in and made contact with DAGGER’S STRIKE (T. S. Jodha). Jockey A. Sandesh has been cautioned. After the race, BEEMER was observed to have lost its left fore shoe.
Cupido	CUPIDO (H Zeeshan dr.3), BEEMER (A Sandesh dr.2) and DAGGER’S STRIKE (T S Jodha dr.7) were marginally slow to begin.

Arc De Triomphe	After the race, THE BAWAJI was trotted at the stables and found to be sound and ARC DE TRIOMPHE was observed to have a gum injury.
The Bawaji	Jockey P. Trevor (THE BAWAJI) has been cautioned for weighing out late. THE BAWAJI (P. Trevor, dr.3) jumped out slowly losing about 3 lengths at the start. After the race, THE BAWAJI was trotted at the stables and found to be sound and ARC DE TRIOMPHE was observed to have a gum injury.

Cellini	After the race, CELLINI was observed to have a cut injury on right fore inner bulb of heel.
Superlative	At the start, SUPERLATIVE (A Sandesh, dr.2) shifted in and went across KINGS BEST (D. R. Shubham, dr.1) who had to be steadied.
Kings Best	At the start, SUPERLATIVE (A Sandesh, dr.2) shifted in and went across KINGS BEST (D. R. Shubham, dr.1) who had to be steadied. After the race, EXCELERATOR was trotted and found to be sound and KINGS BEST was trotted and found to be sound at the stables.
Red Merlot	After the race, Jockey Dashrath Singh (RED MERLOT) reported that his mount was not galloping freely as such the gelding was subjected to Veterinary Examination and was found to be sore from left fore. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
Excelerator	After the race, EXCELERATOR was trotted and found to be sound and KINGS BEST was trotted and found to be sound at the stables.

Passing the 800 metres, SUPERLEGGERA (S. Zervan) shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing GINSBURG (App. M. S. Deora) who had to be steadied. Jockey S. Zervan has been cautioned.
Ashwa Malala	GINSBURG was brought late in the paddock. As such Tr. Adhirajsingh Jodha has been cautioned. At the start, GINSBURG (App. M. S. Deora, 6) jumped outwards onto MONARCHY (K. Nazil, dr.7) who inturn shifted out onto SUPERLEGGERA (S. Zervan, dr.8). Passing the 800 metres, SUPERLEGGERA (S. Zervan) shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing GINSBURG (App. M. S. Deora) who had to be steadied. Jockey S. Zervan has been cautioned.
Monarchy	At the start, GINSBURG (App. M. S. Deora, 6) jumped outwards onto MONARCHY (K. Nazil, dr.7) who inturn shifted out onto SUPERLEGGERA (S. Zervan, dr.8).

Fiery Red	Passing the 400 metres, FIERY RED (P. Trevor) was inconvenienced due to a tightly packed field. It was observed that FIERY RED (P Trevor) hung out in the straight. After the race Jockey P Trevor (FIERY RED) reported that his mount was shying away from the other runners and was inclined outwards. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race. After the race, FIERY RED & THUNBERG were trotted and found to be sound and KIEFER was observed to have a cut injury on left hind coronet.
Kiefer	After the race, FIERY RED & THUNBERG were trotted and found to be sound and KIEFER was observed to have a cut injury on left hind coronet.
Golden Neil	After the race, Jockey Dashrath Singh (GOLDEN NEIL) reported that his mount luggedin in the straight. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
Liberation	After the race, Jockey Bhawani Singh (LIBERATION) reported that his mount luggedin in the straight despite his efforts. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
Thunberg	After the race, on being questioned Jockey P. S. Chouhan (THUNBERG) stated that his mount was hesitating due to the close proximity of the other runner and thereafter dropped back. As such the filly was subjected to Veterinary examination including scoping. Subsequently, the Sr. V.O. reported that the filly was scoped and was found to have (Gr.1 EIPH). After the race, FIERY RED & THUNBERG were trotted and found to be sound and KIEFER was observed to have a cut injury on left hind coronet.
Lord Murphy	LORD MURPHY (H. Zeeshan, dr.4) jumped out slowly losing about a length at the start.

Birkin Blower	At the start, BIRKIN BLOWER (App. A. Prakash, dr.8) jumped outwards and had to be steadied. App. Jockey A. Prakash (BIRKIN BLOWER) was observed that have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Pune Meeting 2022, he has been fined Rs.3,000/
Aegon	At the start, AEGON (Y. S. Srinath, dr.5) jumped inwards onto EXCELLENT GOLD (Akash Agarwal, dr.4) who was marginally slow to begin.
Lord Vader	Passing the 250 metres, DESERT FIRE (App. P. S. Kaviraj) shifted out under urgings and carried LORD VADER (Bhawani Singh) outwards. App. Jockey P. S. Kaviraj has been cautioned.
Desert Fire	At the start, POKERFACE (S. Zervan, dr.6) jumped outwards and went across DESERT FIRE (App. P. S. Kaviraj, dr.7) who was slow to begin. Passing the 250 metres, DESERT FIRE (App. P. S. Kaviraj) shifted out under urgings and carried LORD VADER (Bhawani Singh) outwards. App. Jockey P. S. Kaviraj has been cautioned.
Excellent Gold	EXCELLENT GOLD was brought late in the paddock. As such Tr. Narendra Lagad has been cautioned. At the start, AEGON (Y. S. Srinath, dr.5) jumped inwards onto EXCELLENT GOLD (Akash Agarwal, dr.4) who was marginally slow to begin.
My Hunter	At the start, POKERFACE (S. Zervan, dr.6) jumped outwards and went across DESERT FIRE (App. P. S. Kaviraj, dr.7) who was slow to begin.

6	(28)	THE AKKASAHEB MAHARAJ TROPHY (GR.3) TERMS - 4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD	1200M
			4.00 P.M.

Joaquin	Approaching the 1000 metres, JOAQUIN (S. Zervan) shifted in onto ENIGMA (P. S. Chouhan) forcing it inwards and causing it bump and tighten ENDEAVOUR (Y. S. Srinath) who in turn shifted in onto ASCOVAL (P. Trevor) causing the latter to brush the rails and drop back. An objection was lodged by Jockey P. S. Chouhan (ENIGMA) placed second by the Judge against Jockey S. Zervan (JOAQUIN) placed first by the Judge. The reason being, after the jump within few strides Jockey S. Zervan (JOAQUIN) came in & pushed Jockey P. S. Chouhan (ENIGMA) in, whereby his horse broke his stride also at the same time he had to check his horse to save the horse on his inside, this check cost him a certain race. In this connection, the Stewards of the Club held Jockey S. Zervan (JOAQUIN) guilty of careless riding.
Enigma	Approaching the 1000 metres, JOAQUIN (S. Zervan) shifted in onto ENIGMA (P. S. Chouhan) forcing it inwards and causing it bump and tighten ENDEAVOUR (Y. S. Srinath) who in turn shifted in onto ASCOVAL (P. Trevor) causing the latter to brush the rails and drop back. An objection was lodged by Jockey P. S. Ascoval	Approaching the 1000 metres, JOAQUIN (S. Zervan) shifted in onto ENIGMA (P. S. Chouhan) forcing it inwards and causing it bump and tighten ENDEAVOUR (Y. S. Srinath) who in turn shifted in onto ASCOVAL (P. Trevor) causing the latter to brush the rails and drop back. After the race, IRON AGE & ASCOVAL were trotted and found to be sound.

7	(29)	THE ANIMAL WELFARE BOARD OF INDIA TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46 - (6 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1200M
			4.30 P.M.

Dowsabel	At the request of Trainer Faisal A. Abbas, DOWSABEL was examined at 0830 hours on 13/08/2022 and found to be lame from the right fore leg, as such the mare was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Majestic Warrior	At the start, SLAM DUNK (App. P. Vinod, dr.6) jumped outwards onto MAJESTIC WARRIOR (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.7) who inturn shifted onto DIVINE HUNT (App. Kirtish Bhagat, dr.8) at the same time BLAZING BAY (App. Haridas Gore, dr.9) shifted in thereby tightening DIVINE HUNT causing the latter to drop back. In the final stages of the race, MAJESTIC WARRIOR (App. Mustakim Alam) drifted out under urgings. As such, App. Mustakim Alam has been severely reprimanded.
Cipher	CIPHER (App. A. Prakash, dr.10) took a fly jump thereby losing about 2 lengths at the start.
Divine Hunt	At the start, SLAM DUNK (App. P. Vinod, dr.6) jumped outwards onto MAJESTIC WARRIOR (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.7) who inturn shifted onto DIVINE HUNT (App. Kirtish Bhagat, dr.8) at the same time BLAZING BAY (App. Haridas Gore, dr.9) shifted in thereby tightening DIVINE HUNT causing the latter to drop back.
Speculator	SPECULATOR was brought late in the paddock. As such Tr. Subhag Singh has been cautioned. At the start, UNTITLED (R. Shelar, dr.4) jumped inwards onto SPECULATOR (T. S. Jodha, dr.2). Passing the 1000 metres, SPECULATOR (T. S. Jodha) shifted in and went across LION KING (H. Zeeshan) who had to be steadied. Jockey T. S. Jodha has been cautioned.
Blazing Bay	At the start, SLAM DUNK (App. P. It was observed that App. P. Vinod (SLAM DUNK) was travelling wide in the early part of the race. As such, App. P. Vinod has been cautioned.

			5.00 P.M.

Emrys	Tr. P. Shroff (EMRYS) has been cautioned for mounting Jockey late on his charge in the paddock.
Cold Pursuit	At the start, COLD PURSUIT (M. Ayyar, dr.11) jumped outwards and had to be steadied.
Eyes On The Prize	EYES ON THE PRIZE (Bhawani Singh, dr.2) jumped out slowly losing about 2 lengths at the start
Dubai Bay	After the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar (VIKRAMADITYA) reported that the saddle on his mount had shifted in front during the race as such he was unable to ride his mount at his full advantage. As such, Trainer Imtiaz A Sait has been fined Rs. 5,000/ for faulty saddling this being the second instance during the current Pune Meeting 2022. After the race, VIKRAMADITYA was trotted and found to be sound.
