Dancing QueenAn enquiry has been opened into the finishing efforts of Apprentice Ankush (DANCING QUEEN). The Veterinary Officer reported that :

CITY OF JOY dropped back from about the 400 metres of the race and finished the race detached from the field. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the filly and submit his report. On examination the filly was found to be trotting sound. Tr. Sabeel Shariff has been advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.

MarcoliniJockey H Rahul (MARCOLINI) reported that he was squeezed out at the start and he had to perforce settle his mount at the rear end of the field but for which he would have finished much better, was noted. The Veterinary Officer reported that MARCOLINI returned with a left hind pastern injury.

3 (151) THE BRUCKNER HANDICAP

MathangiMATHANGI, SMASH SHOT and SUPERIMPOSE were slow to begin. Jockey R Vaibhav (IMPRESSIVE ANNIE) was fine a sum of Rs 5000/ for coming in sharply soon after the start causing MATHANGI (A Ashhad Asbar) to be checked by its rider. Passing the 1000 metres MATHANGI (A Ashhad Asbar) veered outwards to the centre of the track, threw its head up and dropped to the rear of the field. Jockey A Ashhad Asbar(MATHANGI) was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount in the concluding stages of the race, coming in and causing interference to IMPRESSIVE ANNIE.

VenenoVENENO arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. As Tr. B Rajender Reddy had earlier been warned and fined for the late arrival of his charges he has now been fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/.
Jimmy BeeJIMMY BEE was slow to begin. Tr. Rajesh Narredu was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a barrier trial.
