In The SunlightIN THE SUNLIGHT, an acceptor in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Friday, 14th February, 2014 and found to be lame on right fore due to sore shins. Under the circumstances the colt was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. C Gleich was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

CrackleCRACKLE (Kishore Kadam) which was fractious on its way to the start dislodged its rider and galloped around around the course. Under the circumstances the colt was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.
AmorinoAMORINO (C Alford) and HEAD TO HEAD (Vinay Jaiswal) were fractious in their respective stalls.AMORINO (C Alford) was inclined to keep an erratic course when placed under pressure in the concluding stages of the race.
Pinball WizardPINBALL WIZARD (Shailesh Shinde) was very fractious in its stall. In view of its behaviour Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

Royal HonourROYAL HONOUR (App Zarar Alam) ran an erratic course when placed under pressure with the whip passing the distance post.
River StarThe Veterinary Officer reported that RIVER STAR returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Patrick Quinn was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Roman CenturionROMAN CENTURION, an acceptor in the above race was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Friday, 14th February, 2014 and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
WordsJockey Afzal Khan, the rider of WORDS and Jockey Mohit Singh, the rider of LE CHOCOLAT, were fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for the excessive use of the whips on their respective mounts (2nd offence).
Noble DefenderNOBLE DEFENDER (App Md. Javed) was observed to gallop three horses wide off the running rails for a major portion of the race. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with his charge again.
Le ChocolatLE CHOCOLAT (Mohit Singh) was fractious in its stall.
IjlalIJLAL (App Jorawar Singh, drawn 9) received severe interference as the start was effected when CEE FOUR (Gajender Singh, drawn 8) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ from the gates and thereafter for some distance refused to raise a fluent gallop.
