1	(30)	THE SIR CHARLES TODHUNTER MEMORIAL TROPHY (DIV-II) A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45	1100M

Golden Ring	GOLDEN RING (Khurshad Alam) reared up, broke the front barriers, bolted and ran rider less. On immediate examination, it was found to have sustained deep cut injury on the muzzle. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu (deputizing on behalf of Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu) was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Empress Bella	EMPRESS BELLA (Naveen Kumar. V) dropped the rider on the way to the starting gates, ran anticlockwise and galloped for almost 1800 Metres. On immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was found to be exhausted. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
The King N I	THE KING N I (K.G. Likith Appu) took a fly jump. Jockey K.G. Likith Appu, the rider of THE KING N I reported that he accidently lost his whip passing the 100 Meters. THE KING N I (K.G. Likith Appu) sustained superficial injury on right hind pastern.
The Republic Power	Jockey K. Sai Kiran, the rider of THE REPUBLIC POWER was fined Rs.3,000/ for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.

The Golden Dream	THE GOLDEN DREAM (Naveen Kumar. V) dropped the rider on the way to the starting gates, bolted, ran rider less and galloped for almost 2000 Metres. On immediate examination by the Club`s Veterinary Officer, it was found to be exhausted. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Star Admiral	FORTY NINER (Tousif Khan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced STAR ADMIRAL (L. Alex Rozario) soon after the start.
Maple Leaf	FORTY NINER (Tousif Khan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced STAR ADMIRAL (L. Alex Rozario) soon after the start. FORTY NINER (Tousif Khan) sustained superficial cut injury on right fore cannon and fetlock.
Appsara	It was observed that APPSARA (K.G. Likith Appu) accidently brushed the running rails passing the 1000 Metres.
The Grey Geranium	THE GREY GERANIUM (Chandrashekar M) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. An enquiry was held on 18/12/2022 by the Stipendiary Steward for the above race with respect to the riding of Jockey Chandrashekar .M, the rider of THE GREY GERANIUM in the above race “Wherein he allowed his mount to travel wide from 800 Metres till about 500 Metres for no apparent reason and for not infusing adequate vigour in riding out his mount in the final 400 Metres.” The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Chandrashekar .M with effect from 28122022 to 31122022 (Both days inclusive) for Incompetent Riding under Rule No. 161 (ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount THE GREY GERANIUM (he is permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.
Scarlet Ibis	It was observed that SCARLET IBIS (A.R.Pradeep) was running green throughout the race. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

3	(33)	THE D.M.SHIVASWAMY MEMORIAL TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 65	1600M

Angel Bliss	Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to withdraw ANGEL BLISS (Antony Raj S.) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left hind and suffering from fever. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Douglas	Jockey Y. S. Srinath, the rider of DOUGLAS was fined Rs.3,000/ for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Prague	Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of PRAGUE was fined Rs.3,000/ for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). PRAGUE (P. Trevor) sustained superficial injury on tongue.
Silvarius	As Jockey S. John was certified medically unfit to ride. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar to substitute Jockey Antony Raj S to ride SILVARIUS in place of the declared rider.

Last Wish	Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of FORTUNATUS was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing LAST WISH (P. S. Chouhan) on his outside approaching 1200 Metres.
Disruptor	Jockey Darshan R.N, the rider of DISRUPTOR reported that he did not get a clear run due to a closely packed field approaching the 350 Metres.
Fortunatus	Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of FORTUNATUS was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing LAST WISH (P. S. Chouhan) on his outside approaching 1200 Metres.

In A Breeze	IN A BREEZE (L. Alex Rozario) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Irfan Ghatala was informed not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
Southern Ruler	Jockey Nazerul Alam, the rider of SOUTHERN RULER was reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason.

Akasi

As Jockey Vivek was certified medically unfit to ride. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla to substitute Jockey A.R.Pradeep to ride AKASI in place of the declared rider. Jockey A.R.Pradeep, the rider of AKASI reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Urban Borbon

URBAN BORBON (Nazerul Alam) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.
