High TributeJockey Rayan Ahmed R., the rider of ASAGIRI was fined Rs.1,000/ for shifting out and taking out HIGH TRIBUTE (Hasib Alam) on his outside approaching 300 Metres. Jockey Hasib Alam, the rider of HIGH TRIBUTE was fined Rs.1,000/ for coming `in` and causing interference to ASAGIRI (Rayan Ahmed R.) on his inside in the final 75 Metres of the race. At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and enquired into the interference caused by Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of SEA EAGLE to Jockey Hasib Alam, the rider of HIGH TRIBUTE in the final 100 Metres, whereby Jockey Hasib Alam was dislodged from his mount. The Stewards examined Jockeys S. Zervan and Hasib Alam the respective riders. After detailed deliberations, they decide not to alter the placings as declared by the judge. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S. Zervan, the rider of SEA EAGLE to the Stewards for Dangerous Riding [Rule No. 161 (i) of the B.T.C. Rules of Racing] in the above race. In that he had not maintained a proper course, allowed his mount to shift `in` in the final 100 Metres, whereby HIGH TRIBUTE (Hasib Alam) stuck his mount dislodging its rider. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Jockey S. Zervan, viewed CCTV replay of the race in question from various angles. Thereafter, they decided to change the charge to Careless Riding [Rule No. 161 (i)] of the B.T.C Rules of Racing and hence, they decided to suspend the Jockey`s licence granted to S. Zervan from 1st July, 2023 to 2nd July, 2023 (Both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.25,000/ for Careless Riding [Rule No. 161 (i) of the B.T.C. Rules of Racing] on his mount SEA EAGLE in the above race (He is permitted to ride work) and he was informed of his right to appeal.
