As such the gelding was subjected to veterinary examination and found to be sound.

ReciprocityAt the start, RECIPROCITY (S. A. Amit, dr.3) jumped outwards onto NUSRAT (N. K. Ashish, dr.4) who was marginally slow to begin. Approaching 300 metres, RECIPROCITY (S. A. Amit) leaned inwards thereby tightening C’EST L’AMOUR (App. Mustakim Alam). Jockey S. A. Amit has been cautioned.
Rising BraveAfter the race, RISING BRAVE was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The horse has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
NusratAt the start, RECIPROCITY (S. A. Amit, dr.3) jumped outwards onto NUSRAT (N. K. Ashish, dr.4) who was marginally slow to begin. NUSRAT (App. N. K. Ashish) was observed to have trailed the field. Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been asked to ensure that his charge puts up a reasonable performance in the future.

TaimurTAIMUR (Bhawani Singh, dr.2) was slow to begin losing about 4 lengths at the start. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

Mighty WingsOn the arrival at the start, Jockey Amyn Merchant (MIGHTY WINGS) informed that his mount had lost his fore shoe on the way to the start. As per the norms the said filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order.
Lady DiAfter the race, LADY DI was trotted and found to be sound further it was observed that the filly had lost its right hind shoe.

Wall StreetAt the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards a Stewards enquiry was held in this race. The reason being, passing the 1500 metres WALL STREET (Suraj Narredu) had stumbled dislodging its rider due to which LETO (Vishal N. Bunde) racing on its haunches had to be checked.
Wild ThingAfter the race, LETO was observed to have a cut injury on right fore pastern and WILD THING was trotted and found to be sound.
WordsmithAt the start, WORDSMITH (P. Trevor, dr.9) jumped and veered outwards.
Regal CommandAt the start REGAL COMMAND (Bhawani Singh dr.7) jumped out slowly losing about 2 lengths.

NationwideIt was observed that NATIONWIDE (S. Zervan) was brought into the paddock sporting a Tongue strap for which the permission was not obtained. The said equipment was removed before the gelding left the paddock. As such, Trainer Behram Cama has been fined Rs.1,000/ for his lapse. After the race, NATIONWIDE, PEREGRINE FALCON and ANGELS TRUMPET were trotted and found to be sound.

MojitoJockey N. S. Parmar (MOJITO) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. After the race on questioning Jockey N. S. Parmar stated that his mount had tried to drift out in the straight and he had used the whip as a corrective measure as the same was borne out from the video of the race. As such no action has been initiated against Jockey, however, Trainer A. M. Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
Fortunate SonJockey Prashant P. Dhebe (FORTUNATE SON) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2022/23, he has been fined Rs.3,000/.

As such, the gelding was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Trainer H. J. Antia has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
ScaramangaPassing the 800 metres, BABA (Vikram Jodha) was observed to have leaned inwards thereby tightening SCARAMANGA (S. Zervan) causing the latter to be stumbled. After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey Vikram Jodha, he has been fined Rs.2,000/.
