1	(127)	THE ACT IN TIME PLATE (DIV-II) A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1000M

My Celina

After about 100 metres from the start, RATNAVALI (Dashrath Singh) shifted in and forced MISTER FIXIT (Zameer Sayyed) to shift in on to NUNCIO (T.Atul) who in turn went on to FREE SPIRIT (C.Rajendra). Jockey Dashrath Singh was reported to the Stewards. The Stewards interviewed the Jockey and having viewed the video recording of the race, decided to caution him to be more careful in the future. After the race, RATNAVALI was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

Gold Biscuit

After the race, GOLD BISCUIT was found to have a wolf tooth on the left side of the mouth and GAME OF TALENT had an abrasion on the right hind fetlock.

Ran Banka	After the race, RAN BANKA was found to have a wolf tooth on the right side of his mouth.
Forest Native	FOREST NATIVE (Sunny Chinoy) and LONE TROJAN (App.Shammi Khan) were restless and kept rearing up, not allowing their respective Riders to mount. Trainers Narendra Lagad and Mansoor Shah have been asked to show their charges in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race.
Elementto Trance	After the race, ELEMENTTO TRANCE was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

Naseebdar	After the race, NASEEBDAR was found to be sore by the right fore leg and NEEDFORSPEED was found to be sore by the left fore leg. Both the horses have to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Honeyday	Soon after the start HONEYDAY (Hanumant Singh) was inconvenienced and steadied while racing between EXPENSIVE AFFAIR (J.Chinoy) on its outside and NEEDFORSPEED (C.Rajendra) on its inside.

4	(130)	THE RAO SAHEB D.K. PARKAR TROPHY (DIV-II) A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66	1000M
			3.15 P.M.

Moonstorm	At the start MOONSTORM (NG McCullagh) shifted in and at the same time BLUE DAFFODILS (Nirmal Jodha) shifted out and jostled with each other. Travelling some distance further, BLAZING SPEED (Vikram Jodha) shifted in and inconvenienced MOONSTORM (N.G.McCullagh). Jockeys N.G.McCullagh, Nirmal Jodha and Vikram Jodha have been asked to be more careful in the future.
Rubidium	Approaching the 200 metres, RUBIDIUM (Aadesh Kumar) shifted out and at the same time BLAZING SPEED (Vikram Jodha) changed its course inwards and jostled with each other. Both the Jockeys, Aadesh Kumar & Vikram Jodha, have been asked to be more careful in the future.
Blue Daffodils	After being stalled, BLUE DAFFODILS (Nirmal Jodha) hooked her right hind on the side partition. The filly was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified her fit to race. EL BUNDUQ (Imran Chisty) threw his head up as the start was affected, losing about 2 lengths at the start. After the race, BLUE DAFFODILS was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Wild Torronaado	Jockey Neeraj Rawal (WILD TORRONAADO) reported loss of whip at about 150 metres from the winning post. The Jockey explained that his whip hit the other Jockey’s whip and hence he lost his whip.

5	(131)	THE CONTINUAL PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 86 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1400M
			3.45 P.M.

Mysterious Star	Near 300 meters, MYSTERIOUS STAR (Imran Chisty) kept an erratic course. BALANCE DE POWER (Neeraj Rawal) who was racing behind MYSTERIOUS STAR shifted out to make his move and made contact with PRINCE LOCHINVA (Sunny Chinoy) who was being corrected by its Rider as the gelding was inclined to lugout which resulted in PRINCE LOCHINVA (Sunny Chinoy) being forced out and who in turn forced TIGRESSE NOIRE (YS Srinath) to shift out and was awkwardly placed behind the heels of RAQUEL (NG McCullagh) and was checked by its Rider. Since the incident was accidental, no action has been initiated against the Jockey.
Three Of Arts	THREE OF ARTS (R.Shelar) was slow in the strides, losing about 2 lengths at the start.
Ishtar	After the race, ISHTAR was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

6	(132)	THE RAO SAHEB D.K. PARKAR TROPHY (DIV-I) A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66	1000M
			4.15 P.M.

Secret Admirer	At the request of Trainer Karthik G. SECRET ADMIRER was examined on 18th March, 2009 at 1600 hours and was found to have got kicked over the brisket by a horse. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.
Heifitz	Soon after the start, HEIFITZ (I.Shaikh) shifted in and carried SWEPT AWAY (C. Rajendra) inward who in turn went onto ARABIAN PRIDE (S.K.Jadhav) and later on HEIFITZ (I.Shaikh) went across CASUAL LOOK (C.S.Jodha) causing all the mentioned horses to be checked by their respective riders. Jockey I.Shaikh was reported to the Stewards for careless riding. The Stewards interviewed Jockey I Shaikh and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by him decided to suspend his Jockey’s License w.e.f. 3rd April 2009 to 5th April 2009 (both days inclusive) for Careless Riding. (Permitted to ride work/ Mock race).
Siroco(O)	SIROCO (Vikram Walkar) took an awkward jump, losing about 3 lengths at the start.

Amore Mio	AMORE MIO (Neeraj Rawal) stumbled at the start.
Bright Future	After the race, BRIGHT FUTURE was found to have an abrasion on both the hind pasterns.
Perfect Strength	PERFECT STRENGTH (R.Shelar) was restless in the stall and jumped out awkwardly losing about 3 lengths. Trainer Subhag Singh has been asked to give the colt more gate practice and to show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials before next accepting to race.

Palazzio's Sun	After the race, PALAZZIO’S SUN was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The colt has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Highland Crown	HIGHLAND CROWN (Daniel M.Grant) was placed fifth and SEA PRINCESS (Neeraj Rawal) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.

Arabian Champ

JOHN CABOT (C.S.Jodha) lugged out in the final stages of the race. Trainer Altaf Hussain has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt.

Classic Ruler

Trainer C.D.Katrak and Jockey C.Rajendra were questioned regarding the running and riding of CLASSIC RULER and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey C.Rajendra, the matter was reported to the Stewards. The Stewards interviewed Jockey C Rajendra and Tr.C.D.Katrak. Jockey C.Rajendra stated that he was instructed to ride his own race, a waiting race. The Jockey explained that near 800 metres he was on the outside following QUAND MEME who was inclined to shift out and he had started dropping back and he felt that if had made his move from the outside of QUAND MEME he would have had to travel very wide and hence he came home the shortest way and when two gaps appeared in the straight his horse was not quick enough to take the gaps and it was only when he had pulled his horse out that he responded well while racing away from the rails and had gained lot of ground. When questioned, Tr.C.D.Katrak confirmed that he had asked the Jockey to ride a waiting race. The Trainer stated that near 800 meters CLASSIC RULER was traveling on the outside and then shifted in and in the straight he had shifted out too much and in his opinion the horse could have won the race. The Stewards having considered the submissions made by Trainer C.D.Katrak and Jockey C.Rajendra and having viewed the video recording of the race. The Stewards observed that the horse had responded well only after shifting out in the final stages of the race and keeping in mind that the horse was found to be sore after the race, decided that no action was called for in the matter. After the race, CLASSIC RULER was found to be sore by the left hind leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

Princess Samerah

While being backed in at the time of loading, PRINCESS SAMERAH (S.S.Baria) kicked over the front flaps of the Gate. On examination, the mare was found to be unfit to race, as such was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainer Jayantilal K Gor has been asked to give the mare more gate practice and to show her in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race.

Arbudh

ARBUDH (Nirmal Jodha) and CHIEF WARRIOR (Zameer Sayyed) hung out in the straight. Trainer Uday Bhan Singh has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race with the gelding. After the race, CHIEF WARRIOR was found to go short by the left fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
