Xtravagant StarXTRAVAGANT STAR was very fractious to be stalled and dislodged its rider. The gelding continued to be fractious and refused to be stalled in spite of repeated attempts. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter. Tr. Rutherford Alford was further advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.

NAUTICA (Vinay Jaiswal, drawn 8) jumped inwards bumping onto BHARATH (Vivek G, drawn 7) who in turn went onto MATHANGI (Arul JH, drawn 6) and TYCOONIST (App Prasanth Thapa, drawn 4) soon after jump out. MISTY and MATHANGI rolled onto each other during the last 50 metres of the race.

Jockey R Vaibhav has been reprimanded for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. PRIME ABBESS dropped out of contention from about the 700 metres and trailed the field. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the mare and submit his report. Tr. Rajesh Narredu was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.

5 (52) THE VANITAS HANDICAP

Togo TOGO, an acceptor in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the evening of 17th September, 2025 and found to be suffering from left fore fetlock swelling. Under
JahzaraJockey R Vaibhav (JAHZARA) was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/ for excessive use of the whip (2nd infringement).
ChampagnesupernovaCHAMPAGNESUPERNOVA was slow to begin. Jockey Hasib Alam (CHAMPAGNESUPERNOVA) was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for excessive use of the whip (1st infringement).
