1	(156)	THE KILSHANNIG PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1000M

Rule Of Law (O)

At the start, RULE OF LAW (App.Shammi Khan, dr.5) jumped out awkwardly towards the outside and went on to HEREAFTER (App D S Rathore, dr.6). Trainer Magansingh P Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly. Travelling some distance after the start, RULE OF LAW (App Shammi Khan) shifted in and caused severe interference to CRÈME DE LA CRÈME (App Prabhu Naidu). Further, Trainer Narendra Lagad lodged a verbal complaint with regard to the interference to his charge. The matter was reported to the Stewards. Consideration of the matter was deferred to the next Meeting of the Stewards.

2	(157)	THE BLUE HAVEN TROPHY - DIV-II A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1400M

Arabian Star	At the request of Trainer Adil Dajee, CRESCENDO was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. on the race day (20/09/2009) at 0900 hours and found to have stiffness of both the shoulders. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and hence was withdrawn on veterinary ground.
Only The Brave (O)	At the start, MYTHICAL (S.Sunil, dr.6) jumped out awkwardly and went on to AURARIA (Nirmal Jodha, dr.7) who was turned sideways due to the contact. Jockey S Sunil has been asked to be more alert at the Gates Trainer Faisal A Abbas and Jockey S Sunil were questioned regarding the running and riding of MYTHICAL. The Jockey was instructed to be well up and to do his best. The Jockey stated that he was following APPALINA (Stephane Breux) and he felt that APPALINA was tiring as he saw Jockey Stephane Breux getting into his horse and had picked up his whip before 600 metres, so he decided to improve from its outside and rounding the bend he was taken out by APPALINA. He added that he did not want to come from the inside as there were other horses and he could have got into traffic problems. He added that he wanted to give his horse galloping space and wanted to ride the horse with the flow and did not wish to break the rhythm. He added that he had done his best in the circumstances. Trainer concurred with the statements of the Jockey and opined that the Jockey did not have much of a choice. The explanation was noted.
Fiamma	After the race, FIAMMA was found to have an abrasion on the right hind coronet and WINGS OF ANGELS had an abrasion on the right hind fetlock.
Anamika	Jockey Aadesh Kumar (ANAMIKA) has been fined Rs.500/ for not fastening his helmet buckle properly which resulted in the helmet strap coming off during the race. Further, he has been cautioned for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage in the straight. After the race, ANAMIKA coughed during veterinary examination.

3	(158)	THE ASCOT LASS PLATE - DIV-II A Handicap for Horses rated 00 TO 26	1200M

Prince Of Troy	At the request of Trainer Narendra Lagad, PRINCE OF TROY was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. on the race day (20/09/2009) at 0900 hours and found to have injury under the frog of the right fore hoof. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and hence was withdrawn on veterinary ground.
Sail Thru	Jockey H. G. Rathod (SAIL THRU) has been fined Rs. 1000/ for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
Golden Orra	In the final stages, GOLDEN ORRA (Nadeem Alam) ducked in and made contact with MORALITY (T Atul). After the race, GOLDEN ORRA was found to go short by the left fore leg. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Morality	Approaching 200 metres, MORALITY (T Atul) shifted out due to which GOLDEN ORRA (Nadeem Alam) was forced to shift out and shortly afterwards ATTRACTIVE GIRL (Shailesh Shinde) shifted in and hampered the running of GOLDEN ORRA (Nadeem Alam). Both the Jockeys, T Atul and Shailesh Shinde, have been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over their respective mounts.
Above All	Near 300 metres, ABOVE ALL (P Sandeep) was ridden in check for a few strides.

4	(159)	THE AEROBICA PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66	1600M

Adallia	At the request of Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait, ADALLIA was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. on 18/09/2009 at 0930 hours and found to have colic. As such, the mare was certified unfit to race and hence was withdrawn on veterinary ground.
Rommel	Jockey C. Rajendra (ROMMEL) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. The jockey explained that the horse was luggingin in the straight and therefore he had used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit as a corrective measure. The explanation was noted and no action has been initiated against the jockey.
Big Old Man	After the race, MATATA PRIDE was observed to have lost its left fore plate.
Tyumen	Passing 600 metres, TYUMEN (App.M.A.Roushan) shifted out due to the bend and then rolled in, inconveniencing MATATA PRIDE (A.M.Tograllu). App M. A. Roushan has been asked to be more careful in the future.

5	(160)	THE KANTHARA PLATE TERMS - 3 year old maidens only	1800M

Cambiasso	CAMBIASSO (Suraj Narredu) was restless and unsettled in the stall. Trainer P.Shroff has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and to show him to the satisfaction of the starter at morning starting trials before next accepting to race.
Lothario	Near 1600 metres, LOTHARIO (HG Rathod) was steadied while racing on the inside of CONFISERIE (Imran Chisty). After the race, LOTHARIO was observed to have lost its left fore plate.

6	(161)	THE SONALIKA PLATE TERMS - 3 year old maidens only	1200M

Ariane	Soon after the start, ARIANE (J Pradeep) was tightened while racing between ADMIRALS QUEST (B Prakash) who was inclined to lug out and GLORIOUS MISS (Sunny Chinoy).
Brief Encounter (O)	BRIEF ENCOUNTER (Nirmal Jodha) was inclined to lugin in the straight. On a request the Sr. VO reported that filly was found to have a significant wolf tooth on both the sides of her mouth. Trainer MK Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
Yamlapagladeewana	After the race, GERRAD was observed to have a gum injury.
Admirals Quest	ADMIRAL’S QUEST (B. Prakash) hungout throughout the race. Trainer Karthik G has been asked to show the gelding in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting to race.
Jade (O)	JADE (Stephane Breux) took a fly jump.
Glorious Miss	Jockey Sunny Chinoy (GLORIOUS MISS) reported that he felt his mount to be uncomfortable during the race. The Sr. VO was requested to examine the filly who reported that no abnormality was detected.
Sniper Shot	SNIPER SHOT (V. Chandrakant) hungout during the race thereby placing its Rider at a disadvantage. Trainer Anil Kumar has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt.

7	(162)	THE J.E. HUGHES TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 86	1400M

Weizhou	After the race, BEAU MONDE was observed to have lost its left fore plate and WEIZHOU had lost its left hind plate.
Cosmopolitan	COSMOPOLITAN (Nirmal Jodha) was slow in the stride, losing about 3 lengths at the start. Tr.Uday Bhan Singh has been asked to take remedial measures and to show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Prince Lochinva	At the start, PRINCE LOCHINVA (App.Prabhu Naidu, dr.10) shifted in and tightened SWAHILI (Imran Chisty, dr.9) who lost position, which may have possibly cost the colt the race since Jockey Imran Chisty was asked to be up with the field. As SWAHILI dropped back, CHIOS (App.D.Akkshay) who was racing behind SWAHILI, was inconvenienced. Travelling some distance further PRINCE LOCHINVA (Prabhu Naidu) again shifted in and jostled with CARLOS (T. S. Jodha). App. Jockey Prabhu Naidu was reported to the Stewards for careless riding. Consideration of the matter was deferred to the next Meeting of the Stewards.

8	(163)	THE PIAGGIO FILLIES` AND MARES` STAKES (GR.3) TERMS - 3 YEARS OLD & UPWARD	1800M

Tsesebe	Jockey A. M. Tograllu (TSESEBE) has been cautioned for keeping an erratic course in the straight.
Angelique	ANGELIQUE (Suraj Narredu) and MOTHER’S PRIDE (T.S.Jodha) were slow in the stride, losing about a length each at the start. Approaching 200 metres, ANGELIQUE (Suraj Narredu) was held up for a clear run for a few strides. ANGELIQUE (Suraj Narredu) was placed fifth and MOTHER’S PRIDE (T.S.Jodha) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
Equidae	EQUIDAE (Neeraj Rawal) kicked the rear flap as the start was effected and lost about a length at the start. After the race, EQUIDAE was observed to have an abrasion on the right hock and left hind bulb of heel.

Grand Warrior	Jockey C. Rajendra (GRAND WARRIOR) has been fined Rs. 3000/ for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
Sharp Memory	Approaching 600 metres, SHARP MEMORY (App D.Akkshay) shifted in and tightened GRAND WARRIOR (C Rajendra) who was checked and possibly lost the race due to the interference. App D.Akkshay was reported to the Stewards for Careless Riding. Consideration of the matter was deferred to the next Meeting of the Stewards.
Fish Pilot	Soon after the start, FISH PILOT shifted in and caused a chain reaction wherein FISH PILOT (App.A.Sandesh) shifted in on to HIGHLAND GLORY (Imran Chisty) who went on to SOLOR (Sahlesh Shinde) who in turn went in to GRAND WARRIOR (C.Rajendra). Travelling some distance further, FISH PILOT again shifted in and tightened HGHLAND GLORY, SOLOR and GRAND WARRIOR who was turned sideways and had to be checked off the heels of BLADE RUNNER (Neeraj Rawal). App.A.Sandesh was reported to the Stewards for Careless Riding. Consideration of the matter was deferred to the next Meeting of the Stewards.
Daffodils	DAFFODILS (Vikram Walkar) was slow in the stride, losing about 4 lengths at the start. Trainer M.K.Jadhav has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and to show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

Ballad Of Glory	At the request of Trainer H.J.Antia, BALLAD OF GLORY was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. on 19/09/2009 at 1030 hours and found to be sore by the left fore leg. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and hence was withdrawn on veterinary ground. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Salawati	Jockey S Sunil (SALAWATI) reported the loss of whip near 400 metres. The Jockey explained that his mount was inclined to lugin and when he used the whip, it hit the rails and slipped out of his hand. Since loss of whip was accidental, no action was initiated against the Jockey.
Maverick(O)	At the start, MAVERICK (P.Kamlesh, dr.7) jumped out awkwardly towards the inside and went on to ROMP HOME (H.G.Rathod, dr.6) who shifted in and made contact with THE REBEL (App.A.Sandesh, dr.5) and ricocheted on to HEAVY MONEY (App.Shammi Khan) and was steadied. Due to the above incident, ROMP HOME and THE REBEL lost their respective positions in the race.
Heavy Money	After the race, HEAVY MONEY was observed to have lost its right hind and right fore plate.
