Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of ADELRIC placed 2nd by the Judge objected against Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SPANIARD placed 1st for "in the last one furlong the winner has come out and bumped me twice whereby my horse lost its rhythm due to which I lost a certain race" The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of SPANIARD, was fined Rs.3,000/ for the improper use of the whip on his mount whereby he could not exercise sufficient control over his mount and allowed it to drift out in the final 200 Metres

Gluteus Maximus

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of GLUTEUS MAXIMUS, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race and that he had considerable difficulty in keeping it on an even course. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and it was reported to have burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again
