My Inspiration

Jockey P.Trevor (ACE JET) has been fined Rs.1,000/ for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. Approaching 1000 metres, ACE JET (P.Trevor) was steadied due to which CAESARS WIFE (R.Vaibhav) who was following, was steadied and in the process lost position. After the race, ACE JET, FLAMING HEART, COURTESY CALL and CAESARS WIFE (examined on 23/09/2013) were found to be sound. FLAMING HEART had lost its left hind plate.

2	(167)	THE PROTEUS PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 26	1800M
			1.30 P.M.

Merck	MERCK (Ishwar Pardeshi) jumped out awkwardly and thereafter stopped abruptly after a few strides and took no part in the race. Trainer Jayantilal K.Gor has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Romantic Beauty	After the race, ROMANTIC BEAUTY, NEON LIGHT, CORNELIAN, MERCK, SPEEDING and ALWAYS THERE were found to be sound. NEON LIGHT had a cut injury at the right hind coronet.
Neon Light	While straightening for home, NEON LIGHT (Kavraj Singh) hung outwards and hampered the running of ROMANTIC BEAUTY (N.S.Parmar). Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

			3.00 P.M.

Capitano	At the start, CAPITANO (Shrikant kamble) shifted in and hampered the running of DREAMS R MINE (P.Trevor) who was tightened and lost position. Jockey Shrikant Kamble has been cautioned.
Ace Angelfire	Near 800 metres, ACE ANGELFIRE (Neeraj Rawal) shifted in due to which BOURBON STREET (Malcolm Kharadi) shifted inwards and inconvenienced ALBUURZ (Kavraj Singh). Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been cautioned. In the concluding stages of the race, ACE ANGELFIRE (Neeraj Rawal) was denied a clear run.
Emperor Of France	Soon after the start, EMPEROR OF FRANCE (C.S.Jodha) leaned outwards on to INCENTIO (S.Sameer) who went on to DREAM R MINE (P.Trevor).
Albuurz	After the race, ALBUURZ, ASTROMIA, CAPITANO and ACE ANGELFIRE (examined on 23/09/2013) were found to be sound. BOURBON STREET had a gum injury.

			3.30 P.M.

Mauna Kea	After the race, MAUNA KEA was observed to have a cut injury at the right hind pastern. STAR OF PEACE and ADVANCE TO CONTACT (examined on 23/09/2013) were found to be sound.
Rajsamman	Jockey R.Vaibhav (RAJSAMMAN) reported that his mount shied away and was unbalanced in the concluding stages of the race.
Advance To Contact	Jockey Nirmal Jodha (ADVANCE TO CONTACT) reported that his mount luggedin the straight. Trainer Sangramsinh N.Joshi has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Santa Maria	After being stalled, SANTA MARIA (S.Zervan) reared up and hooked one of its fore legs in the adjoining stall. The filly was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. who certified her fit to race. Trainer P.Shroff has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly. Jockey S.Zervan (SANTA MARIA) reported the loss of whip near 150 metres from the Winning Post, the reason being that his whip hit the rails.
Star Of Peace	At the start, STAR OF PEACE (P.Trevor, dr.6) shifted in and went across MAUNA KEA (A.Sandesh, dr.5) and then jostled with SULTAN OF SWING (J.Pradeep, dr.4), who in turn made contact with SANTA MARIA (S.Zervan, dr.3). Jockey P.Trevor has been fined Rs.3000/

7	(172)	THE S.A.POONAWALLA MULTI - MILLION (GR.2) TERMS - 3 years old only	1600M

Falcon	Jockey Suraj Narredu (FALCON) has been fined Rs.3,000/ for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. Further, he has been fined Rs.5,000/ for allowing his mount to shift in under the use of the whip and made contact with BOMBARDIER (D.K.Ashish) in the final stages of the race.
Bombardier	Jockey D.K.Ashish (BOMBARDIER) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being the third offence with regard to the use of the Whip, the matter was reported to the Stewards. The Stewards interviewed Jockey D.K.Ashish and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by him, decided to suspend his Jockey’s license w.e.f. 12/10/2013 to 13/10/2013 (both days inclusive) (permitted to ride work/mock race) Further, Jockey D.K.Ashish has been fined Rs.3,000/ for using his whip in an Improper manner, wherein he had used the whip on the shoulder of his mount in a forehand position.
Dynamo	After the race, DYNAMO was observed to have a cut injury at the right hind pastern.
Providence	PROVIDENCE (C.S.Jodha) leaned outwards soon on entering the straight and caused FALCON (Suraj Narredu) to shift outwards, who in turn caused TRANCE (Dashrath Singh) to travel wider. PROVIDENCE (C.S.Jodha) was placed fifth and INDIAN TOUCH (B.Sreekanth) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
Isadoro	At the start, ISADORO (P.Trevor) veered to the outside, losing ground. Trainer S.S.Shah has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt.

			4.30 P.M.

Marengo	At the start, MARENGO (Dashrath Singh, dr.5) jumped awkwardly outwards and went on to PUNE WARRIORS (D.S.Rathore, dr.6), who in turn made contact with STAR GAZING (Vikram Jodha, dr.7).After the race, MARENGO was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Seekingmagic	SEEKING MAGIC (Shrikant Kamble) took a fly jump and WINDSOR (V.Chandrakant) was slow in the strides, losing about 2 lengths at the start.
Valorozky	Jockey A.J.Nilesh, the Declared Rider for VALOROZKY, did not report to the Scales in time, therefore he was substituted by Jockey J.Pradeep and an inquiry has been initiated in the matter. Jockey J.Pradeep (VALOROZKY) has been fined Rs.5,000/ for failing to persevere with his mount throughout the race.
Striking Shadow	After being stalled, STRIKING SHADOW (Akshay) leaned in the stall and was not allowing the rider to settle. Trainer Mansoor Shah has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Pune Warriors	Near 900 metres, PUNE WARRIORS (D.S.Rathore) shifted out and forced VALOROZKY (J.Pradeep) to shift outwards, who in turn caused STRIKING SHADOW (Akshay) to travel wider. Jockey D.S.Rathore has been severely cautioned.

			5.10 P.M.

Small Treasure	After being stalled, SMALL TREASURE (S.S.Baria) reared up awkwardly and flipped over and got stuck on to the rear gates. The gelding was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. who certified him unfit to race, as such, SMALL TREASURE was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. STAR PRINCE (App.S.Mosin) was fractious and refused to be stalled, as such, the gelding was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainers Mansor Shah and H.J.Antia have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Satine	Jockey C.S.Jodha (WINDSOR QUEEN) has been fined Rs.1,000/ for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
Mateus Rose	After the race, MATEUS ROSE was observed to have an abrasion at the right hind fetlock. CREAM OF THE CROP and MONTE CARLO were found to be sound.
Nicanor	Soon after the start, EROTIC FLAME (Akshay) shifted in and tightened the field on its inside whereby MY FREEDOM (A.Sandesh) and CREAM OF THE CROP (R.Vaibhav) were tightened and NEGREDO (App Sandeep Jadhav) who was following, was also hampered and as the filly was steadied, she shifted out on to CALYPSO QUEEN (A.Ashhad Asbar). Jockey Akshay was reported to the Stewards for Careless Riding.
Calypso Queen	Trainer Asad Siddique has been fined Rs.3,000/ for putting in late Declaration in respect of his charge CALYPSO QUEEN. At the start, CALYPSO QUEEN (A.Ashhad Asbar, dr.6) jumped awkwardly and then shifted in and inconvenienced MATEUS ROSE (P.Trevor, dr.5).
