Legend ReturnsAt the request of the trainer, ch f LEGEND RETURNS was examined by the Veterinary Officer after the race and found to be lame on its left fore. Tr. C Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Moon ArtJockey A Imran Khan, the rider of REAGAN, reported that his mount was tending to hang out from about the 700 metres as such he was having difficulty to keep his mount on a straight course, more so during the final stages of the race whereby his mount carried MOON ART (Sujit Kr Paswan) out passing the 200 metres. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.

Azaich g AZAI (Vinay Jaiswal) was observed to hang out rounding the final bend under pressure. The Veterinary officer reported that AZAI returned bleeding from nostrils. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/ for using a cross nose band on his charge AZAI, equipment for which prior permission had not been obtained.

Eastsideb m EASTSIDE, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Wednesday, 24th August, 2022 and found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances the mare was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
The Flying EagleTHE FLYING EAGLE (Mukesh Kumar) was difficult to load. The Veterinary Officer reported that THE FLYING EAGLE returned lame on its left fore. Tr. B Mahesh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
TharIMMEASURABLE (Sujit Kr Paswan) was hanging in passing the distance post.

4 (5) THE SOPHISTICATED LADY HANDICAP

Fenicia GlintJockey Sujit Kr Paswan, the rider of FENICIA GLINT, was reprimanded for allowing his mount to drift out round the final bend inconveniencing GHOST (Md Islam) on his outside.
KimayaKIMAYA (Vinay Jaiswal) was slow to begin. The Veterinary Officer reported that KIMAYA returned with a cut injury on right fore fetlock.
GhostJockey Sujit Kr Paswan, the rider of FENICIA GLINT, was reprimanded for allowing his mount to drift out round the final bend inconveniencing GHOST (Md Islam) on his outside.
Cape TanarosAs Jockey Nikhil Naidu (CAPE TANAROS) failed to “weighout” at the declared weight, Tr. Aashay Doctor was permitted to substitute Jockey B R Kumar to ride his charge CAPE TANAROS. Jockey Nikhil Naidu was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/ for the lapse and warned to be more careful while accepting his rides in future.

5 (6) THE GLOTIK HANDICAP

Ember Glowch m EMBER GLOW was examined by the Veterinary Officer after the race and found to be trotting sound.
LivisillaApp P Tejeshwar, the rider of LIVISILLA, when questioned about his riding on his mount stated that his mount was not striding out fluently from the bend, the mare was on the wrong foot and also that he lost his whip passing the distance post. He reported the same to his Trainer. Not being satisfied with the explanation tendered, the apprentice was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for failing to ride out his mount from rounding the final bend till well into the straight. The apprentice was further informed that a close watch will be kept on his future riding. App P Tejeshwar, the rider of LIVISILLA, reported loss of whip passing the distance post.
Indian StarINDIAN STAR (Sujit Kr Paswan) was slow to begin losing approximately 5 – 6 lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.
JinsokuJockey B R Kumar, the rider of JINSOKU, was unbalanced as the start was effected losing his stirrup irons which he was unable to regain till into the final straight. The Jockey was advised to be more alert at the start in future.
