High OpinionHIGH OPINION (Akshay Kumar) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day. HIGH OPINION (Akshay Kumar) was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
Hoofed WonderHOOFED WONDER (S. Hussain) after jumping out did not raise a fluent gallop for the first 200 Metres and galloped erratic, thereafter it ran detached. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu was informed not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least two Mock Races.

2 (218) THE SRINGERI PLATE

KonichiwaIt was reported after the race that KONICHIWA (Darshan R.N) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Royal BlossomPermission was granted to Trainer Mr.Pradeep Annaiah to withdraw ROYAL BLOSSOM on veterinary grounds as it was found to be walking lame on left fore. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Queen RegnantJockey C.Umesh, the rider of BENEDICTION placed 4th by the judge objected against Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of QUEEN REGNANT placed 3rd for `In the last 150 Metres he bumped me twice, in the process my horse was scared, which cost me a certain 3rd place”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection. Further, Jockey C. Umesh was fined Rs.5,000/ for taking a frivolous objection.
