RosarioROSARIO was observed to have lost its left hind shoe.
SenecaJockey A. Sandesh (SENECA) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being the second offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2025/26, he has been fined Rs.5,000/.

Land Of PlentyLAND OF PLENTY (A. Prakash, dr.2) was reluctant to be stalled. As such, Trainer Subhag Singh has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the horse to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Emperor RodericEMPEROR RODERIC was examined and found to be sore by right fore. As such, the horse has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

JaandaarAfter being stalled, JAANDAAR (Vivek G., dr.7) was fractious. As such, Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the colt to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. JAANDAAR was observed to have a cut injury on its left hind cannon.
HavocPassing the 250 metres, HAVOC (T. S. Jodha) veered in and went across BLUE JET (Yash Narredu) thereafter BLUE JET shifted out thereby bumping and tightening LEMPIKA (Neeraj Rawal) causing the latter to be checked. After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation, Jockey T. S. Jodha fined Rs.2,000/.

Bravo ZuluDuring saddling, BRAVO ZULU reared up, flipped over and brushed her right hindquarter. Subsequently, the filly was examined by the Club’s Chief V.O. at the saddling enclosure as also on arrival at the starting gates, was found to be sound and certified fit to race. BRAVO ZULU, ALLEZ L’ETOILE & RENAISSANCE were trotted and found to be sound. At the request of Trainer Faisal A. Abbas, BRAVO ZULU was scoped at the Equine Hospital and no abnormality was detected.
InterceptorAt the start, INTERCEPTOR (Yash Narredu, dr.6) jumped outwards and made contact with ASHWA GYPSY (S. A. Amit, dr.7) causing the latter to be steadied. Soon after the start, INTERCEPTOR (Yash Narredu) shifted in thereby tightening DEDICATION (S. Zervan) racing on its haunches causing the latter to be checked. Jockey Yash Narredu has been severely cautioned. Approaching the 300 metres, INTERCEPTOR (Yash Narredu) shifted in under pressure thereby carrying ALLEZ L’ETOILE (App. Bharat Singh) inwards who further shifted in and went across TROPICAL PARADISE (N. S. Parmar) causing the latter to check and change course. After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation, Jockey Yash Narredu has been fined Rs.3,000/. INTERCEPTOR was trotted and found to be sound but was observed to have an injury on its right hind hock. Further, at the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the gelding was scoped at the Equine Hospital and was found to have EIPH (Gr.I).
Crystal ClearTrainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been fined Rs.500/ for failing to take the prior permission to use a Red Hood on his charge CRYSTAL CLEAR.

Jockey Yash Narredu (PINNACLE) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his third offence during the current Mumbai meeting 2025/26, his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for two race days i.e. should he apply for a Jockey’s licence for the Racing Season 2026/27 and if the same is granted to him, his licence shall stand suspended on first two race days of Pune Meeting 2026, dates of which will be intimated to in due course (permitted to ride work/mock race).

ESPERANZA was observed to have broken a blood vessel (2nd time) and is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of eight weeks. As such, the mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

UndercoverAt the start MAJESTIC WARRIOR (App. Bharat Singh, dr.1) jumped inwards thereby starting a chain reaction due to which LUCIO (App. Aditya Waydande, dr.2) and UNDERCOVER (A. Sandesh, dr.3) were inconvenienced and had to be steadied. Approaching the 1000 metres, UNDERCOVER (A. Sandesh) shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing LUCIO (App. Aditya Waydande) racing on its haunches. After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation, Jockey A. Sandesh has been fined Rs.3,000/.

Bohemian RhapsodyBOHEMIAN RHAPSODY (S. A. Amit, dr.6) lost about four lengths at the start. Trainer Hosidar Daji has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY (S. A. Amit) was observed to have trailed the field. As such, Trainer Hosidar Daji has been asked to ensure that his charge puts up a reasonable performance in the future.

Red MerlotOn a request from Trainer Narendra Lagad, RED MERLOT was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 09:30 a.m. on 27th March 2026 at the stables and was found to be sore by right fore with a swelling on the right fore fetlock joint. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race, withdrawn on veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race. RED MERLOT – to be passed fit by Club’s V.O.
Aeon FluxThe urine and blood samples of the winner of the 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th race, viz. PINNACLE, SOCIAL BUTTERFLY, UNDERCOVER & AEON FLUX and the special samples of STORM MAJESTY (3rd race) & MULAN (8th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substances.
MajesticusAt the start, MAJESTICUS (App. Aditya Waydande, dr.1) jumped out awkwardly. After passing the winning post, MAJESTICUS showed signs of distress. Accordingly emergency first aid treatment was given and the gelding was sent to the Equine Hospital for further treatment.
MulanMULAN & BLUE’S PRIDE were trotted and found to be sound. The urine and blood samples of the winner of the 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th race, viz. PINNACLE, SOCIAL BUTTERFLY, UNDERCOVER & AEON FLUX and the special samples of STORM MAJESTY (3rd race) & MULAN (8th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substances.
