Jack Flash	On arrival at the start, JACK FLASH (App. K. Nazil) played up and dislodged its rider who was hurt and unable to ride, as such JACK FLASH was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Trainer Hosidar Daji has been asked to give the colt more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. After the race, JACK FLASH was trotted and found to be sound. The colt had an abrasion at the right stifle and hock.
Ustad Pedro	At the start, USTAD PEDRO (J. Chinoy, dr.4) jumped outwards and went on to LAMBRETTA (Bhawani Singh, dr.5), who in turn shifted out and carried ADONIJAH (N. S. Parmar, dr.7) outwards.
Dubai Dunes	After the race, App. A. S. Peter (BEEMER) reported the loss of whip passing the 200 metres. This being his second instance during the current Pune Meeting 2019, he has been fined Rs.2,000/.

Tasawwur	After the race, TASAWWUR and LUCKY LUCIANO were trotted and found to be sound.
Till End Of Time	TILL END OF TIME (Akshay) reared up as the start was given thereby losing about 5 lengths.

3	(62)	THE B K LAGAD TROPHY (DIV-II) TERMS - 3 year old maidens only	1000M
			3.00 P.M.

C'est L'amour	Approaching the 200 metres, C’EST L’AMOUR (C. S. Jodha) shifted in and made contact with EN SABAH NUR (J. Chinoy). After the race, Jockey C. S. Jodha stated that his mount leaned inwards and had to be steadied as such he could not ride out to its complete advantage. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
Pezula	PEZULA (P. Trevor) jumped out slow losing about 4 lengths at the start. After the race, Jockey P. Trevor (PEZULA) reported that his mount was hesitant to raise a fluent gallop in the early part of the race. Trainer Bezan Chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

Caprisca

At the request of Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait, CAPRISCA was examined at 0925 hours on 31/08/2019 and found to have swelling at both fore fetlock joints. Subsequently, on scrutinizing the Race Day Medical Report submitted by the Equine Hospital and Private Vets, it was observed that CAPRISCA was declared to run in this race within 10 days of having received the Extra Corporeal Shock Wave therapy, as such, the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. In this connection, Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been fined Rs.10,000/ for the lapse on his part. Further, the Trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the gelding from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

Adjudicate

The Equine Hospital reported that ADJUDICATE had right eye injury (sore). After the race, ADJUDICATE was trotted and found to be sound.

			4.00 P.M.

Big Ben	At the start, BIG BEN (App. K. Nazil, dr.8) jumped inwards and at the same time NIGHT HUNT (P.Trevor, dr.7) jumped outwards and they made contact. Thereafter, ASHWA VIJETA (App. A. S. Peter, dr.9) shifted in thereby tightening BIG BEN (App. K. Nazil) and causing it to be checked and drop back. App. A.S.Peter has been cautioned. After the race, BIG BEN was observed to have a cut injury at the right fore cannon and HIGHLAND WOODS had a gum injury. THE CIVILIAN and ASHWA VIJETA were found to be sound in the trot.
Highland Woods	Approaching the 1000 metres, HIGHLAND WOODS (App.S.A.Amit) shifted in and went across ROYAL ACE (App. A. Prakash) causing it to be checked and change course thereby starting a chain reaction due to which JULIO CESARO (J. Chinoy), PULVERIZE (Bhawani Singh) and NIGHT HUNT (P. Trevor) were inconvenienced. Further, ASHWA VIJETA (App. A. S. Peter) who was racing on the haunches of NIGHT HUNT, had to be steadied. After questioning all concerned, App. S.A. Amit has been fined Rs.2,000/.
Ashwa Vijeta	The Equine Hospital reported that ASHWA VIJETA had right eye injury (sore eye with mild corneal opacity).

6	(65)	THE B K LAGAD TROPHY (DIV-I) TERMS - 3 year old maidens only	1000M
			4.30 P.M.

Sandman	At the start, SANDMAN (A. Imran Khan, dr.7) jumped outwards and went across PIXEL (Shrikant Kamble, dr.8) and made contact with TASMAN (S. J. Sunil, dr.9).
Foreign Singer	Approaching the 800 metres, GOD’S DECREE (P. Trevor) shifted in and went across FIRE PRINCESS (App.S. A. Amit) causing the latter to be checked. Jockey P. Trevor has been cautioned.
Dancing Jade	After the race, DANCING JADE was observed to have an abrasion at the left hind pastern.
Ashwa Drunto	SANDRA’S SECRET (App. Raghuveer Singh) was reluctant to be stalled. Approaching the 700 metres, SANDRA’S SECRET (App. Raghuveer Singh) shifted in thereby tightening FIRE PRINCESS (App.S. A. Amit) along the rails. App. Raghuveer Singh has been cautioned.
Running River	At the start, RUNNING RIVER (Akshay) was observed to have taken a fly jump. After the race, Jockey Akshay (RUNNING RIVER) reported that his mount was inclined outwards throughout the race. Trainer Vishal Gaikwad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

7	(66)	THE SPEARHEAD PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 4 TO 30 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1600M
			5.00 P.M.

Smoky Haze	Soon after the start, SMOKY HAZE (Yash Narredu, dr.3) veered outwards bumping SAFFON FLOWER (App. Santosh G., dr.4) due to which Jockey Yash Narredu was unbalanced and dislodged. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures and to show his charge in a Mock Race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, before next accepting with him to race.
Zeemo	After the race, Jockey J. Chinoy (ZEEMO) reported that his mount was inclined inwards throughout the race. Trainer S. Waheed has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the mare.
Arabian Friend	After the race, ARABIAN FRIEND and GANDALF were trotted and found to be sound.
Gandalf	The Equine Hospital reported that GANDALF had right eye injury (sore eye).
Whoopsidaisy	At the start, WHOOPSIDAISY (App. K. Nazil, dr.11) jumped outwards and carried SHE’S A TIGER (App.S. A. Amit, dr.12) out. Trainer Adil Dajee has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the mare.
