App. P. Venkat was however cautioned for shifting in at about the 200 metres taking the ground of SPLENDID ACT (VIVEK).

Prasad Raju that his instructions were to go to the front or sit a close 2nd which he could not follow as his mount was sluggish at the start and had to be used up in the initial stages of the race due to the fast initial pace and in the straight the filly had nothing to offer inspite of his best efforts, Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju whilst confirming the Jockeys statement opined that his charge had also gone up in handicap apart from that had no other explanation to offer, noted. The Trainer was however cautioned to ensure that his charges raced more consistently in future.

Ali Khan (GABLES) that he was tightened for room soon after the start due to which he had dropped back and thereafter the mare did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer L,D’Silva was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.
AcquisitionJockey P.S. Chouhan (ACQUISITION) fined Rs. 1,000/ for shifting in at about the 600 metres forcing in SHEN LONG (SAMUEL FARGEAT) who in turn shifted in causing interference to PLAY ZONE (K. ANIL).

Greek FireExplanation of Jockey Deep Shanker (GREEK FIRE) that his whip got entangled in the reins in the last 50 metres whereby he had been unable to offer complete assistance to his mount momentarily was noted and the Jockey was severely reprimanded for the above lapse.
Mission Chief MISSION CHIEF (R. PARMOD) was denied a clear run in the last 50 metres.
Kings CruiseExplanation of Trainer D. Netto regarding the dismal performance of his charge KINGS CRUISE (SAMUEL FARGEAT) that his charge was running for the first time in category I and was up there in a striking position till the final 300 metres and thereafter shortened his strides. He further stated that his charge had gone up in handicap and was giving weight to horses which have already established their credentials in this class. The Trainer added that the gelding had run to his potential and quite satisfied with his performance was noted for future reference.
Clever PloyCLEVER PLOY (HARISH) was tightened for room soon after the start.
