Shroff has been cautioned. Approaching the 200 metres, MULTISTARRER (P. Trevor) was observed to have shifted out under urgings thereby trying to force a passage as a result made contact with BUCKLEY (A. Sandesh) thereafter at about 150 metres ALASTAIR (P. S. Chouhan) leaned outwards due to which MULTISTARRER racing on his haunches was forced to shift out further. After questioning all concerned, Jockey P. Trevor has been fined Rs.3,000/. After the race on questioning Jockey P S Chouhan (ALASTAIR) stated that his mount lugged out in the straight despite his efforts. Trainer P Shroff has been asked to take remedial measures. After the race, MANDEVILLE & ALASTAIR were trotted and found to be sound and BUCKLEY was observed to have lost its right fore shoe. |
