Explanation of Trainer G. Shashikanth with regard to the inconsistent performance of his charge SILK (App. Santosh Raj N R) winner of this race who finished off board in the previous race that his charge in the previous race has met a superior set as compare to present race which is for maiden horses . The Trainer further added that his charge was not liking the equipment as such opted to remove the equipment “Basket Bit” and “XNB” in this race which has helped the filly to run a better race. The weaker set and the 5 kgs allowance Jockey in the saddle has also been his charges advantage and the filly could easily be positioned well up with the field and went on to win the race, noted. The Trainer was however cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit. |
