Waseem Ahmed with regard to the improved performance of his charge ACADIAN ANGEL (App. Santosh Raj N R) winner of this race who finished off the board in the previous races that this race being for maiden horses and allowance claiming Jockey in the saddle has added to his charges performance, where App could easily set his own pace and just managed to win the race was not accepted and the Trainer was fined Rs.5,000/ for inconsistent running of his charge.

Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding lost its left hind shoe during the running of the race. However the gelding was trotting sound after the race.

 Explanation of Jockey R Ajinkya (EXECUTIVE DECISION) that his instructions were to position close with front bunch which he tried to follow until entering straight and thereafter when asked for an effort his mount did not show any turn of foot and dropped back from about the 300 mtrs inspite of his best effort. Trainer S K Sunderji while confirming the above added that he has no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charges dismal performance was noted for future reference.
