On examination by the Clubs` Veterinary officer, it was found to have sustained superficial injury on brisket. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr.Darius R. Byramji was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of SMASHING BLUE was severely reprimanded and warned for shifting `in` and tightening GOLDEN OAKS (Salman Khan), which in turn passed it onto AUGUSTUS CAESAR (A. Prakash) and AUTOMATIC (P. S. Chouhan) on his inside soon after the start. Jockey P. S. Chouhan, the rider of AUTOMATIC placed 4th by the judge objected against Jockey A. Prakash, the rider of AUGUSTUS CAESAR placed 3rd and Jockey Salman Khan, the rider of GOLDEN OAKS placed 2nd for “Immediately at the jump GOLDEN OAKS and AUGUSTUS CAESAR came `in` sharply and knocked me out in the rails whereby my horse lost momentum because of which I lost a certain 2nd place”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection. As the objection was frivolous in nature the deposit of Rs.5,000/ by Jockey P. S. Chouhan was forfeited.

 As Jockey Arvind Kumar. N was medically unfit to ride after the 5th race. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas to substitute Jockey Khurshad Alam to ride SHE`S INNOCENT in the above race.
Extraordinary
 It was reported by the Club’s Veterinary Officer that the left fore shoe of EXTRAORDINARY (Ajeet Kumar) had come off at the starting gates. Subsequently, it was reshod (as there was sufficient time for the start of the race) and EXTRAORDINARY was certified fit by the Club’s veterinary officer before the start of the race.

 Jockey C. S. Jodha, the rider of JERSEY LEGEND was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing TIGER RETURNS (A.Imran Khan) on his outside passing the 1000 Metres.
Acaster
 RIGHTLY NOBLE (Mohammed Aliyar) jumped awkwardly onto ACASTER (Vivek) soon after the start.
