Power Port
 POWER PORT (Nazar Alam) planted and lost many lengths at the start, ran detached from the field thereafter and completely stopped galloping after passing the 300 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Pratap Kamath M was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race day on the race track. POWER PORT (Nazar Alam) – Planted and lost many lengths.
Grand Chevalier
 As Jockey Arshad Alam, the declared rider of GRAND CHEVALIER tested positive during “Alcohol testing for riders” and was not permitted to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar to substitute Jockey Vivek G to ride GRAND CHEVALIER in place of the declared rider.

 THE AKHANDA (Afsar Khan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced CRESCENDO (S John) on its outside soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.
Aurele
 Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan to substitute Jockey Vivek G to ride AURELE in place of Jockey Arshad Alam, the declared rider. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m AURELE.
Break Away
 Jockey Likith Appu K G, the rider of BREAK AWAY reported that his mount was not galloping fluently between the 1700 Metres till about the 1400 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was reported to sustained fresh injuries inside mouth. Trainer Mr. Pratap kamath M was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.
The Akhanda
 THE AKHANDA (Afsar Khan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced CRESCENDO (S John) on its outside soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates. It was observed that THE AKHANDA (Afsar Khan) drifted out alarmingly approaching the 1700 Metres despite the best efforts of the Jockey to keep it on an even course and went on to the outer portion of the grass track and subsequently rejoined the field at 1500 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the examination of the mouth by the Club’s Veterinary Officer revealed sharp molars. Hence, Trainer Mr. Santosh S Rao was fined Rs.3,000/ for his negligence (1st Infringement).
Santorini
 Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde to withdraw SANTORINI on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right hind and had an inflammation on right hind fetlock and pastern. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

3 (91) THE STAR ANGEL PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45 - (6 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)

 It was reported after the race that AURELIA (S John) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Ramesh S was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
D Durga
 It was reported after the race that D DURGA (P Kiran Rai) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Venezuela
 VENEZUELA (Angad) was slowly away, lost few lengths at the start and ran detached from the field after passing the 300 Metres. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Gate Jump on a Starting Gate practice day. Jockey Angad was questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards in the presence of Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi, as to his riding on his mount, VENEZUELA, in the above race. After repeatedly viewing the CCTV of the above Race and after due discussions and not being satisfied with the explanations tendered by Jockey Angad, the Stipendiary Stewards decided to fine Jockey Angad Rs.5,000/ for the unsatisfactory explanations tendered by him during the enquiry. Jockey Angad was further cautioned that a repetition of a similar manner of riding in future would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the b g VENEZUELA. VENEZUELA (Angad) – Walked out of the gates and lost few lengths.
Al Jawaad
 AL JAWAAD (Akash Agarwal) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Surender G T was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

4 (92) THE ANDOLANA TROPHY

 D LORD (R Ajay Kumar) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced D ADMIRAL (Angad) on its outside soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.

 IRON CLAD (K Sai Kiran) planted, swerved to the left after jumping out and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Santosh S Rao was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race day on the race track.
Maximiliano
 MAXIMILIANO (Mukesh Kumar) ran detached from the field throughout the race. Trainer Mr. Monnappa C D was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
White Lies
 WHITE LIES (V R Jagadeesh) sustained small cut above left hock.

 It was observed that MOONLIGHT QUEEN (Saqlain S) drifted out alarmingly after passing the 300 Metres despite the best efforts of the Jockey to keep it on an even course and went on to the outer portion of the grass track and finished the race on the outer portion of the grass track. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f MOONLIGHT QUEEN.
Polar Queen
 POLAR QUEEN (L Alex Rozario) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Gate Jump on a Starting Gate practice day.
Ankush
 ANKUSH (Angad) was extremely fractious, reared up and got cast in the gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Orders. ANKUSH (Angad) – Was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Order, as the gelding was extremely fractious inside the stall and refused to stay.

In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race day on the race track. Heroism
 Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Monnappa C D to substitute Jockey V R Jagdeesh to ride HEROISM in place of Jockey Arshad Alam, the declared rider.
Gold Crest
 It was observed that the saddle on GOLD CREST (Md Imran Ashraf) shifted over the withers passing the 1100 Metres and the rider having considerable difficulty in handling his mount due to which, it drifted out passing 900 Metres and ran detached from the field thereafter. After due examination of the equipment which was found to be in serviceable condition, Trainer Mr. Md Sajid Qureshi was fined Rs.3,000/ for this lapse.

 It was reported after the race that D JANI (S John) burst its blood vessels during the race. Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Perfect Perfecto
 An enquiry is being held into the relatively improved performance [Reversal of form] of PERFECT PERFECTO, trained by Mr. P C Tejaswi and ridden by Jockey Inayat in the above race as compared to its previous runs in Race No. 66 and Race No.47, i.e The Skyline Plate – Div I (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65 ridden by Jockey J Paswan and The Kandla Plate (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65 ridden by Jockey Mohammed Mushraf run on 4th January, 2023 and 21st December, 2022 respectively, where it ran unplaced. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b r PERFECT PERFECTO.
Star Of Thea
 The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Mohammed Mushraf to the Stewards, vide Charge Sheet No. 319, dated 17th January, 2023 for breach of Rule No.161(ii) of the Mysore Race Club Limited Rules of Racing [Unsatisfactory Riding], on his mount STAR OF THEA, in the above Race; The Stewards, at their meeting held immediately after the Last Race on Wednesday, 1st February, 2023, examined the rider of the horse, Jockey Mohammed Mushraf and the Trainer of the horse, Mr. P C Tejaswi; After repeatedly watching the CCTV footage of the above Race and after due deliberations and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey Mohammed Mushraf, the Stewards decided as follows; a) That if Jockey Mohammed Mushraf were to apply for grant of a Jockey’s License, for the year 202324, the same shall be suspended from the Fifth Race Day till the Eighth Race Day of the Mysore Summer Races 2023 (both days inclusive), the dates of which shall be informed at a later date to Jockey Mohammed Mushraf, for Unsatisfactory Riding [breach of Rule No.161(ii) of the Mysore Race Club Limited Rules of Racing] on his mount, STAR OF THEA, in the above Race [He was informed of his right to appeal];
Niche Cannabis
 NICHE CANNABIS (Akash Agarwal) was examined at the Starting Gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Mr. Girinath C was informed that he must produce a fitness certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. NICHE CANNABIS (Akash Agarwal) – Was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Order.
