 CONTRIBUTE arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. As Tr. Vijay Singh had been warned earlier for late arrival of his charges to the start, he has now been fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/ for this instance. CONTRIBUTE was difficult to load. Tr. Vijay Singh was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.
Fighter Pilot
 FIGHTER PILOT which was difficult to load, slow to begin and was running green, dropped back from about the 600 metres finishing the race detached from the field. Tr. Bharath Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.

 SANDRINE was slow to begin.

 ROKA and NEW HUSTLE were difficult to load. Jockey Akshay Kumar (ROKA) was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/ for allowing his mount to shift in, in the last 150 metres causing DEVINE CHAKRA to be steadied by its rider.

 An objection was lodged by Jockey Gaurav Singh, the rider of MAKHTOOB placed 3rd by the Judge against Jockey Dashrath Singh, the rider of SENTURION placed 2nd on the grounds of “in the last 150 metres he came in, took over my ground and this cost me a certain race”. The Stewards after interviewing Jockeys Gaurav Singh and Dashrath Singh, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and taking into consideration the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward, decided to overrule the objection and the Judge’s placings to remain unaltered. The “All Clear” signal was ordered to be hoisted. Jockey Dashrath Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/ for allowing his mount to shift in, in the last 150 metres causing MAKHTOOB to be steadied.

 Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of REGENCY SMILE, reported that he was inconvenienced when BLUE ORIGIN (Md Islam) shifted inwards some distance after the start.

Faith
 Jockey P Trevor, the rider of FAITH, when afforded an opportunity to explain the riding of his mount stated that he was instructed to position his mount in 4th/5th place and to do his best. However, he could not position his mount as instructed due to the crowding of the field soon after the jump out and his mount was tending to hang out from about the 800 metres. He further added that the filly drifted to the outer portion of the race track when put under pressure, was noted. Tr. Shyam Habbu was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.

 CLIFFHANGER was observed to be under distress soon after the race and fell down on the track on its way back. Immediate veterinary attention was given but the horse died due to cardio respiratory failure.
Arabian Queen
 The saddle used on ARABIAN QUEEN moved forward passing the 1800 metres with the rider not being to do any justice to his mount in the race. Tr. Vijay Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for faulty saddling.
Speedster
 gr m SPEEDSTER, an acceptor in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer at the request of the Trainer on 9th February, 2023 and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the mare was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Warren Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Mandeville
 MANDEVILLE was slow to begin. Passing the 1100 metres MANDEVILLE broke down. On immediate veterinary examination the gelding was found to have sustained fracture on its right shoulder. As the gelding was in severe pain and agony, it was euthanized on humanitarian grounds.

 The Veterinary Officer reported that THE FLYING EAGLE returned lame on left fore. Tr. B Mahesh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

 b g SHEER FORCE, a declared starter in the above race was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Saturday, 11th February, 2023 and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Rutherford Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

8 (93) THE CARING MIND CUP (DIV-II)

 The Veterinary Officer reported that ABLE LOVE returned bleeding from its nostrils. Tr. N Ravinder Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Star Justice
 STAR JUSTICE (Sujit Kr Paswan) had to be steadied on the rails passing the 250 metres as there was insufficient gap to make its run and was switched out by its rider for its final efforts.
Drd
 DRD was extremely fractious to be stalled, reared up and flipped over. The rig was examined by the Veterinary Officer and declared fit to race. However, DRD again refused to be stalled in spite of repeated attempts. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked.
