 Jockey R S Bhati, the rider of ASTERIX, reported that his mount was running green during the initial stages of the race and thereby inconvenienced YUVI passing the 1100 metres. The Jockey was, however, advised to exercise greater control over his mounts in future.
Indian Star
 The Veterinary Officer reported that INDIAN STAR returned lame on left fore. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Yuvi
 As Jockey Md Imran was medically unfit to fulfil his riding engagement for the day, Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was permitted to substitute Jockey P Surya to ride his charge YUVI. Jockey R S Bhati, the rider of ASTERIX, reported that his mount was running green during the initial stages of the race and thereby inconvenienced YUVI passing the 1100 metres. The Jockey was, however, advised to exercise greater control over his mounts in future.
Chetak
 CHETAK was examined by the Veterinary Officer at the starting gates and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Rutherford Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

 TRES BIEN and AHREN were slow to begin. The Veterinary Officer reported that AHREN returned with a cut injury on its mouth.
Big Brown
 BIG BROWN veered out soon after the jump out, travelling wide and took no practical part in the race. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in a mock race.

 Jockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of WERONIKA, reported that his mount which was hanging in, was denied a clear run passing the 100 metres when INDIAN TIGER shifted in and closed the gap that he was attempting to go through, as such he had to drop his hands in the concluding stages of the race, was noted.

 ELEOS finished the race detached from the field. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the gelding and submit

 SUN GOD and ALGOZE were slow to begin. ALGOZE was hanging out from about the 800 metres of the race. Tr. Shyam Habbu was advised to take appropriate remedial measures. Post race endoscopy revealed that the filly suffered from EIPH. Tr. Shyam Habbu was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

 SHAI was difficult to load.
Time
 TIME was examined by the Veterinary Officer at the starting gates and found to be suffering from left hind fetlock swelling. Under the circumstances the mare was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Patrick Quinn was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

 MAHABALA and TORINO were difficult to load. SANDRINE jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates.

Xtravagant Star
 XTRAVAGANT STAR and SANDRINE arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. As Tr. Rutherford Alford had been warned earlier for late arrival of his charges to the start, he has now been fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/ for this instance. Jockey Imran Chisty (XTRAVAGANT STAR) reported that his mount was racing fiercely in the initial stages of the race and was left with nothing more to offer when asked for an effort in the straight.
Sandrine
 XTRAVAGANT STAR and SANDRINE arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. As Tr. Rutherford Alford had been warned earlier for late arrival of his charges to the start, he has now been fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/ for this instance. MAHABALA and TORINO were difficult to load. SANDRINE jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates.

7 (159) THE INTERSTELLAR HANDICAP

 Jockey R S Bhati, the rider of DANDI SATYAGRAHA, reported that his mount refused to raise a gallop in the initial stages of the race and in spite of his best efforts failed to quicken even in the straight, was noted.
Blue Origin
 BLUE ORIGIN which was fractious in its stall, jumped awkwardly inwards causing interference to CELTIC HARLEQUIN. SAVVY CHIC missed the jump. Jockey Arman Khan (BLUE ORIGIN) reported that his was repeatedly changing legs from about the 600 metres and as such he eased it up passing the 300 metres, was noted. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the gelding and report ailment, if any.
Savvy Chic
 BLUE ORIGIN which was fractious in its stall, jumped awkwardly inwards causing interference to CELTIC HARLEQUIN. SAVVY CHIC missed the jump.
Celtic Harlequin
 CELTIC HARLEQUIN was difficult to load. BLUE ORIGIN which was fractious in its stall, jumped awkwardly inwards causing interference to CELTIC HARLEQUIN. SAVVY CHIC missed the jump.
