Ajeet Kumar (BIEN PENSANT) that his instructions were to sit close with front runners, which he tried to until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for effort, his mount did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts. The Jockey further stated that the filly was travelling as long as she was held and when asked for an effort, she dropped the bit was confirmed by Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh. The Jockey was however, cautioned to make more determined efforts in the final stages of the race.

 Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (TOQUE BLANCHE) that his mount dropped back from about the 400 mtrs and finished the course at the rear end of the field inspite of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly was trotting lame on right fore due to tendon strain.

Sai Kumar (ALEXINA) that due to fast initial pace he was unable to go to front as instructed and in the straight when asked for an effort, his mount did not show any turn of foot and was gradually gaining ground inspite of his best efforts. Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju while confirming the above added that the filly was running first time in a handicap race and has run to her potential was noted for future reference.
