Jockey Siddaraju.P, the rider of APOLLO LIGHT reported that he lost his left stirrup while jumping out of the starting gates, as such he could not offer any assistance to his mount thereafter. In the process he shifted out and inconvenienced WAY OF LIFE (A.R.Pradeep), which in turn passed it onto LADY GODIVA (Darshan R.N) passing the 1000 Metres. An enquiry was held into the matter at the behest of Owner Mr. Kumaraswamy and Trainer Mr. Prithviraj B., the Enquiry Officers held a detailed enquiry into the above incident on 13/1/2024 and viewed various angles of the CCTV replay in the presence of Trainer Mr. Prithviraj B. and Jockey Siddaraju.P. After a thorough enquiry they concluded that the benefit of doubt would be given to Jockey Siddaraju.P., the rider of APOLLO LIGHT on this incident. However, he was informed to be careful in future as to the position of his leg in the stirrup. |
