Tess
Tr. Neil Darashah when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge GEORGE EVEREST as compared to its previous run in Race No. 118 held on 2nd March, 2024 stated that “regarding the perceived improved performance of GEORGE EVEREST, I would like to bring to your attention that there is no extra improved performance from GEORGE EVEREST. It is a very clear line with the second horse namely TESS, they have met on the 2nd of March 2024 in THE MYSORE RACE CLUB MILLION and run together where GEORGE EVEREST has given 1 kilo to TESS and run 3 lengths behind. On the 27th of March 2024 in the race namely THE KAIZEN HANDICAP which GEORGE EVEREST has won, he has received 5 kilos from TESS and beaten TESS by a neck. So it is very clear that it is gone according to pure handicapping. Also one more point I would like to bring to your attention that GEORGE EVEREST has also run after the guideline time of three weeks to show a little bit of improvement”. His explanation was noted.
