| | CAP FERRAT was very fractious while being stalled and inside its stall. An enquiry was held into the running of the race, with particular reference to CAP FERRAT jumping out riderless from the gates.. At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that a fair start had not been given to Horse No. 4 – CAP FERRAT wherein Jockey J H Arul was not seated on the filly when the start was effected as she was being fractious inside the gates. The Stewards decided to declare CAP FERRAT a non starter after taking into consideration the evidence tendered by Jockey J H Arul, the Starter and the Stipendiary Steward. |

| | SUN FLARE dropped back rapidly from about the 500 metres and finished the race way down the field. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the filly and submit his report. Tr. B Mahesh has been advised not to accept with his charge until it is capable of a better performance. Post race endoscopy of SUN FLARE revealed that the filly was suffering from EIPH Gr III. Tr. B Mahesh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. |
