| | On being questioned regarding poor performance of EYES ON THE PRIZE in race no.193 Trainer Rajinder stated that he had instructed App. Jockey varun to sit 5/6 and do his best in the straight as she has always performed better when settled back in mid bunch but he went to the front and she fizzled out in the final 200 meters. The Owner was also unhappy with his riding. In this race I strictly told him to sit 5/6. App. Jockey Varun confirmed the instructions given and stated that in race no 193 she went to front on her own without his efforts and he didn’t want to pull her back to take desired position as it was an 1100 meters race. Their statement was noted. |
