| | An enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Steward into the interference caused by Jockey Angad, the rider of LAUTERBRUNNEN in the above race. In that he shifted `in` sharply and caused severe interference to EMBOSOM (Shreyas Singh S) and SPIRIT DANCER (Vishal N Bunde) along the rails passing the 950 Metres and for further slowing down the pace approaching 900 Metres, whereby EMBOSOM (Shreyas Singh S) and SPIRIT DANCER (Vishal N Bunde) had to be checked by their respective riders. The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Angad for four (4) race days of Bangalore Summer Meeting 2024 i.e., 26/7/2024, 27/7/2024, 2/8/2024 & 3/8/2024 as had he pleaded guilty to the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount LAUTERBRUNNEN (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal. |
