 SANGEETHA dropped out of contention from about the 300 metres, finishing detached from the field. Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.

Artemis Zelda
 Jockey Nikhil Naidu, the rider of ARTEMIS ZELDA, reported that his mount was racing keenly passing the 1000 metres and he had to check his mount to avoid clipping the horses in front. He further added that his mount dropped back out of contention from about the 300 metres, was noted. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine ARTEMIS ZELDA and submit his report. On examination the filly was found to be trotting sound.

 KIKATA was slow to begin.
Sun Flare
 Tr. B Mahesh was reprimanded for the late arrival of his charge SUN FLARE to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. The trainer was further advised to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future. SUN FLARE and HISTORIC were extremely difficult to load. Trs. B Mahesh and Vikash Jaiswal were advised not to accept with their respective charges until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial.

 Tr. Adhirajsingh Jodha was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for parading his charge ABHIDHYAN with a Cross Nose Band, permission for which had not been sought. Subsequently the equipment was removed at the starting gates. Tr. Aashay Doctor, deputising for Tr. Adhirajsingh Jodha, was cautioned to be more careful in future.
Dona Sienna
 Jockey Antony Raj S (DONA SIENNA) was reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift out during the concluding stages of the race, more so under the use of the whip.
Sativur
 Jockey R S Bhati (SATIVUR) reported that his mount changed legs passing the 500 metres and shifted course to the outside, finishing the course as such. Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was advised to take appropriate remedial measures in consultation with the Veterinary Officer.
Just Dash
 JUST DASH jumped out awkwardly from the gates.
Happy Morning
 Tr. B Mahesh was reprimanded for the late arrival of his charge HAPPY MORNING to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. The trainer was once again advised to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future. Jockey P Surya (HAPPY MORNING) reported that his mount shied away from the other runners and was running green in the race.

4 (4) THE TIGER TOPS HANDICAP

 WONDERFUL returned lame on his right fore. Tr. B Mahesh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

 Jockey Yash Narredu (TRAKILA, drawn 3) reported that his mount was leaning to the right and hung in as the start was effected tightening the horses on his inside (INVERNESS, drawn 2) and INTO THE STORM, drawn 1).
King Roger
 SUPARAKIGA was squeezed out at the start between KING ROGER and GEORGE EVEREST.

 Tr. Adhirajsingh Jodha was reprimanded for the late arrival of his charge INVERNESS to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. The trainer was further advised to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future. Jockey Yash Narredu (TRAKILA, drawn 3) reported that his mount was leaning to the right and hung in as the start was effected tightening the horses on his inside (INVERNESS, drawn 2) and INTO THE STORM, drawn 1). b) INVERNESS returned with a left hock injury.

 SUPARAKIGA was squeezed out at the start between KING ROGER and GEORGE EVEREST.

 SUPARAKIGA was squeezed out at the start between KING ROGER and GEORGE EVEREST.
By The Book
 BY THE BOOK was extremely difficult to load and refused to be stalled in spite of repeated attempts. Under the circumstances the mare was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked.

5 (5) THE CAVALLO VELLOCE CUP
A Handicap for Horses rated 81 & ABOVE

 GAZINO had its head turned to the left inside the gates as the start was effected, losing 4 – 5 lengths in the process. Jockey Mustakim Alam was advised to be more alert at the start.

6 (6) THE DYSNOMIA HANDICAP

 The Veterinary Officer reported that WORDSMITH returned lame on right fore. Tr. Neil Darashah was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Basharat
 BASHARAT was slow to begin.
All Time Legend
 ALL TIME LEGEND was difficult to load, fractious in its stall, reared up and fell down dislodging its rider. The gelding was taken out, examined by the Veterinary Officer, found to have right shoulder injury and was permitted to be withdrawn. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked. KAY STAR suffered a bleeding injury on its right shoulder when ALL TIME LEGEND was fractious in the adjacent stall. Under the circumstances KAY STAR was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.
Raffaello
 RAFFAELLO was fractious in its stall in the process the bridle used on the horse came off. As the horse did not allow the bridle to be refitted in reasonable time, it was taken out and permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.
Zucardi
 ZUCARDI played up inside its stall and in the process got hurt on its forehead. On veterinary examination the mare was found to have a bleeding injury from its right nostril and was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds.
Kay Star
 KAY STAR suffered a bleeding injury on its right shoulder when ALL TIME LEGEND was fractious in the adjacent stall. Under the circumstances KAY STAR was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

7 (7) THE STEAL THE GLORY HANDICAP

Snow Leopard
 An enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of gr f SNOW LEOPARD along with its rider Jockey A Sandesh. At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that SNOW LEOPARD which was leading the field well into the straight, sustained a fracture on its left shoulder and fell. Further, DANCE ALONG shied away from the fallen horse and dislodged Jockey Yash Narredu, who escaped unhurt. The Stewards decided that the fall was accidental and the “All Clear” for the race was given. Jockey A Sandesh was given immediate medical attention and was kept under observation. As SNOW LEOPARD was in severe pain and agony, it was euthanized on humanitarian grounds.
