| | On the morning of 17th September, 2024 ch f SPARKLE N SHINE, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be suffering from painful swelling on left fore tendon. Under the circumstances the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. b m KAITLAN was paraded in the paddock with a wrong saddle. Thereafter the mare was taken back and resaddled. Tr. Javed Khan was fined a sum of Rs. 10,000/ for negligence in discharge of his duties. In the process his charge KAITLAN arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. KAITLAN jumped out awkwardly from the gates. ANGEL LIGHT was slow to begin. |

An enquiry was opened immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of Jockeys Vinay Jaiswal (YUVI, dr 1) and Jockey Mohit Singh (XTRAVAGANT STAR, dr 2) from their respective mounts soon after the start. On watching the CCTV replay it was observed that the fall of Jockey Vinay Jaiswal from YUVI was due to the gelding jumping awkwardly from the gates brushing the same unbalancing the rider whereby he got unseated and XTRAVAGANT STAR (Mohit Singh) shied away suddenly after the fall of Vinay Jaiswal (YUVI) causing Mohit Singh to be dislodged as well. As the incident was accidental the “All Clear” signal was ordered to be hoisted. |
