As such, the gelding was taken out and was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O., and was found to have a gum injury, however, the gelding was certified fit to race by the Sr. V.O. Trainer Sanjay Kolse has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter, before next accepting to race. At the start, it was observed that CONNEXION jumped out with the blindfold on and the same came off after a few strides. After the race, on questioning the Starter, he informed us that the gelding in his remark had blindfold on till end and was fractious in the stall. The handler had tried to remove the blindfold in his first attempt but the same did not come off as it slipped from his hand and in his second attempt he managed to remove it partially. The Starter and the respective handler have been asked to be more cautious in the future. After the race, STAR IMPACT was trotted and found to be sound. CACHE was observed to have an injury on right hind bulb of heel. CELESTINA was observed to have an injury on left fore cannon. CONNEXION was observed to have lost its right hind shoe. |
