 MATHANGI stood flat footed as the start was effected losing about 4 – 5 lengths. As the filly was slow to begin even in the previous run, Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a barrier trial. Jockey Hindu Singh (MATHANGI) reported that his mount was hanging in during the final stages of the race. Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.

 BUCKLEY and PRINCE ABIR were slow to begin. Jockey Yash Narredu (BUCKLEY) reported that his mount was hanging in, more so in the final straight. Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.
Beauty Blaze
 BEAUTY BLAZE was extremely difficult to load. Tr. Rajesh Narredu was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial. Jockey Nikhil Naidu (BEAUTY BLAZE) reported that his mount was struggling to keep up with the field during the running of the race, started dropping back passing the 700 metres and he had no option but to ease her up passing the 300 metres as he was not getting any response from the mare. Tr. Rajesh Narredu was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.
Prince Abir
 BUCKLEY and PRINCE ABIR were slow to begin. b) PRINCE ABIR returned with right hock injury.

 Post race endoscopy of GOLDEN OAKS by the Veterinary Officer revealed that the horse suffered from EIPH Gr 4. Tr. Patrick Quinn was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

5 (58) THE SREEPRIYA HANDICAP

Dubai Gold
 Jockey Muzammil Hashmi (DUBAI GOLD) was fined Rs. 5,000/ for coming in sharply passing the 1400 metres causing SALOME to clip the former and dropped back. BLACK COFFEE and DUBAI GOLD finished detached from the field. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine them and submit his report. On the morning of 25th September, 2024 DUBAI GOLD was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be lame on left hind. Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Zuma
 Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of ZUMA was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for excessive use of the whip (1st infringement).
Black Coffee
 BLACK COFFEE was difficult to load. BLACK COFFEE and DUBAI GOLD finished detached from the field. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine them and submit his report. Post race endoscopy of BLACK COFFEE revealed no abnormality. Tr. Joseph Awale was advised not to accept with his charge till capable of a better performance.
Salome

 Jockey Antony Raj S (OROMELO) was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for excessive use of the whip (1st offence).

 Jockey Antony Raj S when questioned regarding his riding instructions and the running of his mount stated that he was instructed to position his mount in 3rd or 4th place and to do his best in the straight. He added that he was caught behind HAPPY MORNING and covered by BORN TO BE SPOILT and POWER RACER on his outside in a slow run race, could switch out only past the 600 metres and rode out in the straight and was unlucky to lose the race. The riding instructions and the explanations tendered by the Jockey were corroborated by Tr. Javed Khan and accepted.
War Trail
 Tr. Sabeel Shariff when questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge WAR TRAIL as compared to its previous outing in Race No. 53 – The Arezzo Handicap held on 17th September, 2023 stated that : a) WAR TRAIL was running in a poor field, when compared to Race No. 53. WAR TRAIL 6th Race.
