False Rails : RAILS WERE PLACED AT 3 METRES WIDE FROM 1600 METRES TO 1400 METRES, 4 METRES WIDE AT 1200 METRES, 5 METRES WIDE AT 1000 METRES, 6 METRES WIDE AT 800 METRES, 7 METRES WIDE AT 600 METRES, THEREAFTER 8 METRES WIDE UP TO THE WINNING POST. RAILS WERE PLACED 2 METRES WIDE IN THE CHUTE.

 At the start, MARIELLA (P. Vinod, dr.1) and COMANECI (App. Haridas Gore, dr.2) threw their heads up and had to be steadied. After the race, COMANECI was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
Mariella
 At the start, MARIELLA (P. Vinod, dr.1) and COMANECI (App. Haridas Gore, dr.2) threw their heads up and had to be steadied. After the race, MARIELLA was observed to have an abrasion on left hind fetlock.
High Spirit
 After the race, App. S. Saba (HIGH SPIRIT) reported that his mount was hangingin in the straight despite his efforts. After the race, HIGH SPIRIT was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by left fore. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

 After the race, TAIMUR was trotted and found to be sound. The Equine Hospital reported that TAIMUR had right eye injury (sore) with ulcer.

3 (97) THE MOOSA M. HOOSEIN TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66

 After the race, the Sr. V.O. reported that FONTANA was trotted and was found to be sound. Further, at the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, endoscopy was performed on the filly at the Sampling Yard and was found to have EIPH (Grade II).
Opus Dei
 It was observed that in the final stages of the race, OPUS DEI (Antony Raj S.) leaned inwards onto MY PRINCESS (A.Prakash) racing along the rails. Jockey Anthony Raj S has been cautioned. After the race, Jockey Antony Raj S. (OPUS DEI) reported that he was held up for room in the straight until approaching the 200 metres.
Winter Agenda
 After the race, WINTER AGENDA was observed to have an injury on left hind cannon and below hock.
Attained
 ATTAINED (Vishal N. Bunde, dr.1) lost about three lengths at the start. Trainer Nazzak B. Chenoy has been asked to give her charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
My Princess
 It was observed that in the final stages of the race, OPUS DEI (Antony Raj S.) leaned inwards onto MY PRINCESS (A.Prakash) racing along the rails. Jockey Anthony Raj S has been cautioned. After the race, Jockey A. Prakash (MY PRINCESS) reported that his mount was hangingin in the straight despite his efforts. Trainer Aman Altaf Hussain has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

 At the start, BUBBLY BOY (Yash Narredu, dr.5) jumped outwards and had to be steadied. Passing the 150 metres, BUBBLY BOY (Yash Narredu) shifted in under the use of whip thereby tightening and inconveniencing RAMBLER (P. Vinod) racing along the rails who had to be checked. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey Yash Narredu has been Rs.3,000/. After the race, BUBBLY BOY was trotted and found to be sound but was observed to have an injury on right hind pastern. RAMBLER was trotted and found to be sound. The Equine Hospital reported that BUBBLY BOY had right eye injury (sore) with ulcer.
Dream Seller
 After the race, Jockey R. Ajinkya (DREAM SELLER) reported that his mount was hanging out in the initial part of the race and in the straight as well despite his efforts. Trainer P. S. Chouhan has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
Rambler
 On arrival at the starting gate, at the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, RAMBLER was examined by the Sr. V.O and was found to be sound. Passing the 150 metres, BUBBLY BOY (Yash Narredu) shifted in under the use of whip thereby tightening and inconveniencing RAMBLER (P. Vinod) racing along the rails who had to be checked. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey Yash Narredu has been Rs.3,000/. After the race, BUBBLY BOY was trotted and found to be sound but was observed to have an injury on right hind pastern. RAMBLER was trotted and found to be sound.

 After the race, BEYOND STARS was observed to have an injury on right fore bulb of heel. DIVINE STAR was observed to have an injury on left hind bulb of heel and fetlock. EXPEDITE was observed to have an injury on right fore bulb of heel. LA DOLCE VITA was observed to have lost its left fore shoe.
Divine Star
 After the race, BEYOND STARS was observed to have an injury on right fore bulb of heel. DIVINE STAR was observed to have an injury on left hind bulb of heel and fetlock. EXPEDITE was observed to have an injury on right fore bulb of heel. LA DOLCE VITA was observed to have lost its left fore shoe.
Kingsland
 KINGSLAND (T. S. Jodha, dr.7) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Nazzak B. Chenoy has been asked to give her charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. At the start, KINGSLAND (T. S. Jodha, dr.7) threw its head up thereby unbalancing the rider resulting in the gelding losing two lengths at the start.
Nostalgia
 In the final stages of the race, Jockey S. G. Prasad (EXPEDITE) shifted in under the use of whip and went across thereby tightening and inconveniencing AAFREEN (A. Sandesh) and NOSTALGIA (Vivek G.) causing both horses to be checked. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey S. G. Prasad has been suspended for three race days i.e. on 19th October, 2nd and 3rd November 2024 for careless riding (permitted to ride work / mock race).
Aafreen
 In the final stages of the race, Jockey S. G. Prasad (EXPEDITE) shifted in under the use of whip and went across thereby tightening and inconveniencing AAFREEN (A. Sandesh) and NOSTALGIA (Vivek G.) causing both horses to be checked. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey S. G. Prasad has been suspended for three race days i.e. on 19th October, 2nd and 3rd November 2024 for careless riding (permitted to ride work / mock race).

 In the final stages of the race, Jockey S. G. Prasad (EXPEDITE) shifted in under the use of whip and went across thereby tightening and inconveniencing AAFREEN (A.  At the request of Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha, SUBSTANTIAL was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 11:15 a.m. on 28th September 2024, at the stables and was found to be sore by left hind, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

 Approaching the 800 metres, MADRAS CHEQUE (H. M. Akshay) and MAYSARA (R. Shelar) were observed to have jostled with each other, thereafter, MADRAS CHEQUE shifted in onto MAYSARA (R. Shelar) who in turn shifted in and bumped ELOQUENT (P. Trevor) causing the latter to be checked. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockeys R. Shelar and H. M. Akshay have been fined Rs.2,000/ each.
Maysara

 After the race, MADRAS CHEQUE was observed to have an injury on left hind cannon and MOONLIGHT KISS was observed to have an injury on left hind fetlock.
Collateral
 At the request of Trainer H. J. Antia, COLLATERAL was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 10:45 a.m. on 28th September 2024, at the stables and was found to be sore by right fore, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
Street Sense
 At the start, STREET SENSE (Vivek G.) whipped around and dislodged the rider. Trainer S. Waheed has been asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, before next accepting to race.

7 (101) THE RICHELIEU PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 26 - (4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)

Malakhi
 The Equine Hospital reported that MALAKHI had right eye injury (sore), MIDAS TOUCH had right eye injury (sore) with ulcer and SPIRITUAL ROCK had right eye injury (sore). The urine samples of the winner of the 3rd, 5th, 6th & 7th race, viz. SINGER SARGENT, EXPEDITE, WANDERLUST & MALAKHI, and the special samples of FONTANA (3rd race), were collected for detection of prohibited substances.
Midas Touch
 After the race, MIDAS TOUCH was trotted and found to be sound. Further, at the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, endoscopy was performed on the mare at the Sampling Yard and no abnormalities were found. The Equine Hospital reported that MALAKHI had right eye injury (sore), MIDAS TOUCH had right eye injury (sore) with ulcer and SPIRITUAL ROCK had right eye injury (sore).
Spiritual Rock
 SPIRITUAL ROCK (S.G.Prasad, dr.4) lost about a length at the start. The Equine Hospital reported that MALAKHI had right eye injury (sore), MIDAS TOUCH had right eye injury (sore) with ulcer and SPIRITUAL ROCK had right eye injury (sore).
