Trainer Ajay Sharma stated that he had instructed the rider to sit 3/4th and he was satisfied with Jockey riding. App. Jockey Varun confirmed the instruction and stated that the horse took awkward jump and therefore he could not position the horse as instructed. Replay of the race was shown and it was pointed out that App. Jockey Varun seems not to take proper jump and thereafter horse was keen however, he restrained the horse for nearly 150 meters therefore not being satisfied with their explanation, both Trainer and Jockey were fined Rs.5,000/ each for unsatisfactory running and riding in the early part of the race. |
