App Ankush, the rider of CYRENAICA, was suspended by the Stipendiary Stewards from riding in races on 21st November and 28th November, 2024 for the incompetent handling of his mount in that he did not make any effort to place his mount in 3rd or 4th position soon after the jump out and unnecessarily travelling wide throughout the race. Master Trainer Dr. Anil Kumar was advised to declare the apprentice in races only if he is satisfied that App Ankush will be able to do justice to his mounts. Further, the Master Trainer was informed that if the Apprentice fails to improve his riding, permission granted to him to ride in races will be withdrawn. |

The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine TRAKILA and submit his report. Post race endoscopy on 7/11/2024 revealed that the filly was suffering from respiratory tract infection Grade 3 and EIPH Grade 1. |
