It was observed that MANY MOONS (Inayat) was checked by its rider to avoid colliding with the frontrunner and shifted out onto KALASHNIKOV (Angad), which caused a chain reaction wherein the latter horse further shifted out onto horse on its outside, viz., QUEEN OF COMEBAKS (Abhishek Mhatre), GOODLUCK BRO (A Ayaz Khan), NISHK (M Rajesh Kumar) and D ADMIRAL (Akash agarwal), approaching the 600 metres, of the above race. Jockey Abhishek Mhatre, the rider of QUEEN OF COMEBAKS reported that his mount was hanging `out’ rounding the bend. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club`s Veterinary Officer reported that examination of mouth revealed sharp molars and fresh injuries inside the mouth; Hence, Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was fined Rs.3,000/ for his negligence [1st Infringement]. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was fined Rs.2,000/ for using the wrong colours on his charge, QUEEN OF COMEBAKS, in the above race. |
