Holy Gold
 HOLY GOLD dropped out of contention rapidly from about the 800 metres of the race and finished the race detached from the field. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the gelding and submit his report. Post race endoscopy of the gelding revealed no abnormalities and it was trotting sound. Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was advised not to accept with his charge until capable of a better performance.
Winter Star
 WINTER STAR was very difficult to load. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again. The Veterinary Officer reported that WINTER STAR returned lame on left fore. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Sun Flare
 SUN FLARE was slow to begin losing approximately 2 – 3 lengths at the start.
Magnite
 Jockey R Manish (MAGNITE) reported that he could not hold his mount to follow the Trainer’s instructions to place it in 3rd/4th position after the start and do his best as the mare was very keen to go to the front and on entering the straight when he gave two cracks, the mare was not responding to his urgings. On questioning Tr. Shafiq Khan corroborated the Jockey’s explanations. Both the Trainer’s and Jockey’s explanations were noted.

2 (61) THE SHOURISHA CUP (DIV-I)

N R I Fantasy
 ZARAFAT (P S Kaviraj, drawn 5) was squeezed at the start by TRES BIEN (S Saqlain, drawn 6) and N R I FANTASY (Mohit Singh, drawn 4). Post race endoscopy of N R I FANTASY revealed that the mare was suffering from EIPH Gr – 4. Tr. Paramjit S Jubbal has been advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Tres Bien
 ZARAFAT (P S Kaviraj, drawn 5) was squeezed at the start by TRES BIEN (S Saqlain, drawn 6) and N R I FANTASY (Mohit Singh, drawn 4). ASAGIRI (Suraj Narredu) clipped the heels of TRES BIEN (S Saqlain) and stumbled losing position passing the 800 metres when Jockey Suraj Narredu tried to steady his mount in a tightly packed field. As it could not be established that any rider was to be blamed for the same, no action beyond noting the incident was taken.
Asagiri
 ASAGIRI (Suraj Narredu) clipped the heels of TRES BIEN (S Saqlain) and stumbled losing position passing the 800 metres when Jockey Suraj Narredu tried to steady his mount in a tightly packed field. As it could not be established that any rider was to be blamed for the same, no action beyond noting the incident was taken.

Dubai Station
 App Sonu Mishra (DUBAI STATION) when questioned regarding his riding instructions stated that he was asked to place his mount in 3rd or 4th position and to do his best in the race. The instructions were confirmed by Tr. Patrick Quinn. Not being satisfied with the riding efforts of the apprentice, more so to follow the Trainer’s instructions and for allowing his mount to unnecessarily drift out in the straight, the Stipendiary Stewards decided to suspend App Sonu Mishra from riding in races on 12th January & 17th January, 2025 for the indifferent handling of his mount. Since App Sonu Mishra had earlier been fined for similar kind of riding, Master Trainer Dr. Anil Kumar has been advised to be more discreet while permitting his apprentice to ride in races.

 NO WORRY arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. As Tr.

 DUBAI PRINCE was slow to begin.
Madras Cheque
 MADRAS CHEQUE arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. As Tr. Patrick Quinn had earlier been warned and fined for late arrival of his charges, he has now been fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/.
Mathangi
 MATHANGI which was slow to begin, was hanging in during the final stages of the race. a) MATHANGI returned without right fore shoe.
Jean Lafette
 On jumping out from the gates JEAN LAFETTE threw its head high unbalancing the rider and lost approximately 4 – 5 lengths at the start.
Tortilla Chip
 Jockey R Manish (TORTILLA CHIP) reported that his mount was leaning inside the stall on its left and brushed against the gates as the start was effected. b) TORTILLA CHIP returned with a cut injury on its left fore arm.
Oishika
 OISHIKA (P S Kaviraj) was fractious on its way to the start, dislodged the rider and ran the course riderless. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Adhiraj Singh Jodha has been advised to school his charge better.

 The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine DR DOOM and MIGHTY ZO and submit his report. On examinations both horses were found to be trotting sound.
All Time Legend
 ALL TIME LEGEND (Kirtish Bhagat) fly jumped out from the gates. The Jockey reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. Tr. Rutherford Alford was advised to take appropriate remedial measures. Passing the 500 metres WONDERFUL (Shivam) which was travelling on the rails, suddenly changed course, drifted out and bumped MIGHTY ZO (Imran Chisty) which was travelling in the centre of track, thereafter clipped the heels of ALL TIME LEGEND at 400 metres. Jockey Shivam Jockey Imran Chisty (MIGHTY ZO) when questioned regarding his riding on his mount stated that the horse was not striding fluently some distance after the start and he steadied his mount and after regaining its rhythm the horse was finishing on in the later stages of the race, was noted. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine DR DOOM and MIGHTY ZO and submit his report. On examinations both horses were found to be trotting sound.

5 (64) THE FALCON CUP

 CELTIC HARLEQUIN was very difficult to load. Tr. Rutherford Alford was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.
Norwegian Wood
 NORWEGIAN WOOD and SATIVUR drifted out under pressure in the straight. The Veterinary Officer reported that NORWEGIAN WOOD returned without its left fore shoe.
Oh My Darling
 OH MY DARLING arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. As Tr. Patrick Quinn had earlier been warned and fined for late arrival of his charges, he was issued a final warning to ensure that his mounts reach the start on time failing which further disciplinary action will be initiated against him. OH MY DARLING and RIMEL were slow to begin.
Rimel
 OH MY DARLING and RIMEL were slow to begin.
Sativur
 NORWEGIAN WOOD and SATIVUR drifted out under pressure in the straight.
Bibury
 BIBURY was very fractious and refused to be stalled in spite of repeated attempts, in the process the bridle used on the filly broke. As there was insufficient time to replace the equipment, the filly was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.

6 (65) THE RCTC GOLD VASE

 REDOUBTABLE was slow to begin.

 Tr. Neil Darashah was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/ for not declaring his charge WHITE ROSES to start after accepting with it. Subsequently the mare was permitted to be withdrawn from the race.

 GHYAMA (R Shelar) and DUBAI STAR (Imran Chisty) could not keep up with the pace in the initial stages of the race. GHYAMA dropped out of contention from about the 500 metres of the race. Tr. Shyam S Habbu was advised not to accept with his charge until capable of a better performance.
Cyrenaica
 Jockey Shivam (CYRENAICA) reported that his mount drifted to the outer rails passing the distance post. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the mare and submit his report. On examination the mare was found to be trotting sound.
Dubai Star
 DUBAI STAR which arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race, was slow to begin. As Tr. Rutherford Alford had earlier been warned and fined for late arrival of his charges, he was issued a final warning to ensure that his mounts reach the start on time failing which further GHYAMA (R Shelar) and DUBAI STAR (Imran Chisty) could not keep up with the pace in the initial stages of the race. On the morning of Thursday, 2nd January, 2025 DUBAI STAR was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be lame on right fore. Tr. Rutherford Alford was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
