| Jockey Md Imran (WINSANGEL) was observed not to ride out his mount during the running of the race. The Jockey explained that his mount appeared not to be travelling too well and as such he did not put him under pressure. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the mare and submit his report. On examination the mare was found to be : Tr. B Mahesh was informed not to accept with his charge WINSANGEL until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. While returning back from the race WINSANGEL shied from a dog and dislodged the rider. Jockey Md Imran is under observation after being given the necessary medical attention. |

Rutherford Alford was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. |

B Rajender Reddy when questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge LUCKY NINE as compared to its previous outing in Race No. 71 – THE LT GENERAL JAMEEL MAHMOOD MEMORIAL CUP DIV I run on 17th January, 2025, stated that : “After careful analysis and consideration, I attribute the enhancement in LUCKY NINE`s performance to the following factors: After the race on 17012025 of LUCKY NINE it was observed that it returned lame on left hind so the horse didn`t perform to his strength in the previous run. I took below measure to address the issues Improved communication: Enhanced communication between LUCKY NINE and the rider, developed through consistent training and partnershipbuilding exercises, has led to greater trust, understanding, and performance. I believe that these factors have collectively contributed to LUCKY NINE`s improved performance. I would like to discuss these observations further and explore ways to continue enhancing LUCKY NINE`s performance”. |

| Jockey Yash Narredu (ANNETTE) was fined a sum of Rs.3,000/ for excessive use of the whip (1st infringement). Tr. Aashay Doctor and Jockey Yash Narredu when questioned regarding the riding instructions on ANNETTE, the trainer stated that he had instructed the Jockey to keep being at the filly from the start as she is lethargic and to do his best. The Jockey corroborated the instructions. When questioned as to the reason he let his mount drop back towards the rear end of the field from the 1400 metres after being fairly well up with the field, the Jockey stated that the filly started dropping back and the field passed her from the outside. He further stated that he was being affected by the kick back and pulled ANNETTE out from the 600 metres and rode her out. The explanations of the Trainer and the Jockey were noted for future reference. |
