 MALAKHI was slow to begin losing approximately 34 lengths at the start. Tr. Shyam S Habbu, deputising for Tr. Aman A Hussain when questioned regarding his riding instructions to Jockey P Trevor on his charge MALAKHI, stated that he had instructed the Jockey to place his mount in 4th or 5th position after jump out, keep up with the field and to do his best. On questioning Jockey P Trevor corroborated the Trainer’s instructions. The jockey further stated that he could not position his mount as instructed due to the mare being slowly off from the gates and he did his best in the straight. The explanations tendered have been noted. Jockey P Trevor (MALAKHI) was fined a sum of Rs. 5000/ for the excessive use of the whip (2nd infringement).

 DUBAI PRINCE (Shezad Khan) trailed the field from about the 600 meters and finished the race as such. Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until capable of a better performance.

 Jockey Imran Chisty (KHALEESI) reported that his mount put its head high as the start was effected, in the process it fly jumped out and he could not position his mount in front as instructed. Further, his mount got keen and received various degrees of interference passing the 600 and 250 metres of the race and tired out with nothing much to offer in the concluding stages of the race. His explanation was noted. A STAR IS BORN, DYF and TREVALIUS 6th Race ASAGIRI and KHALEESI 7th Race.
Fortune Warrior
 Jockey Arman Khan (FORTUNE WARRIOR) was fined a sum of Rs. 25,000/ for failing to ride out his mount in the final straight. Tr. Sabeel Shariff was advised to ensure that all his charges are ridden out to achieve the best position in the race.
