When questioned Jockey R Parvesh confirmed the instruction and stated that his mount was not keen to go the front therefore, he had used the whip also after travelling about 50 meters from the start and settled the horse in 3rd/ 4th position and did his best however horse has not responded at all in the race. After the race, Veterinary examination of ASHWA GAJRAJ revealed presence of sharp molars. Trainer S Nawab was fined Rs 3000/ for his negligence and has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness before next accepting to race. |
