 Jockey Imran Chisty (BORN TO BE SPOILT) was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for excessive use of the whip (1st infringement). The Jockey was further fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for improper use of the whip. The Veterinary Officer reported that BORN TO BE SPOILT returned lame on its left hind. Tr. Rutherford Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Amadeus
 AMADEUS jumped out hesitantly from the gates and was slow into its stride by 3 – 4 lengths. The gelding trailed the field thereafter. Tr. Rutherford Alford was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.
Green Pastures
 The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine GREEN PASTURES and submit his report. On examination on the morning of 8th March, 2025 the mare was found to be lame on right hind. Tr. Rutherford Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Lahina
 Tr. Sabeel Shariff and Jockey Vishal N Bunde when questioned regarding the running and riding of LAHINA, the Trainer stated he had instructed the Jockey to place his mount in 2nd/3rd position and to do his best. The Jockey while corroborating the Trainer’s instructions, stated that he could not place his mount in 2nd/3rd position as instructed as the mare was lacking initial speed to keep up with the field. However, she finished on. Their explanations were noted.

Amalfitana
 N R I FANTASY, AMALFITANA and PHENOMENAL LADY were slow to begin. MADRAS CHEQUE stumbled few metres after the start. Jockey Shezad Khan (AMALFITANA) was reprimanded for shifting in onto HORUS THE GREAT passing the 450 metres.

 Jockey Varun (JIMMY BEE) reported loss of whip passing the 100 metres.
King Roger

Horus The Great
 Jockey Shezad Khan (AMALFITANA) was reprimanded for shifting in onto HORUS THE GREAT passing the 450 metres.

 eligible – To be ridden by Jockeys of Indian Nationality (About) 1600 Metres (4.15/4.16) : 5 runners Jockey Kirtish Bhagat (ARETHA) reported that passing the 600 metres Jockey R Vaibhav (TOUSSAINT) switched out and came onto him as a result he had to check his mount, was noted. The Veterinary Officer reported that TOUSSAINT returned lame on right fore. Tr. Javed Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Aretha
 eligible – To be ridden by Jockeys of Indian Nationality (About) 1600 Metres (4.15/4.16) : 5 runners Jockey Kirtish Bhagat (ARETHA) reported that passing the 600 metres Jockey R Vaibhav (TOUSSAINT) switched out and came onto him as a result he had to check his mount, was noted. Post race endoscopy of ARETHA revealed that the mare suffered from EIPH – Gr IV. Tr. Rutherford Alford was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

5 (147) THE AZUREUS HANDICAP

Sky Force
 SKY FORCE reared up as the start was effected losing approximately 4 5 lengths at the start. While the Stipendiary Stewards will be further enquiring into the slow start of the filly, Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor has been advised not to accept with her charge till passed at a barrier trial.
Gazino
 The Veterinary Officer reported that after the race GAZINO was examined and found to be under distress.
Sir Baffert
 SIR BAFFERT was slow to begin losing approximately 3 – 4 lengths.
