SANGEETHA was slow to begin, thereafter trailed the field and finished the race detached. Jockey Ashhad Asbar reported that as the mare was not striding out fluently and did not appear to be comfortable, he did not exert much pressure on her, was noted. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the mare and submit his report. Post race endoscopy revealed that the gelding suffered from EIPH Gr II. Tr. Dr. Anil Kumar was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race. |
