Jockey A Prakash when questioned regarding the riding instructions on his mount HERMES, stated that he was instructed to take a good jump, place his mount in front position and to do his best, however, on entering the straight his mount had nothing left to offer and finished the race detached from the field, was noted. Tr. Rutherford Alford was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance. |

Sabeel Shariff had earlier been warned and fined for late arrival of his charges, he has now been given a final warning to school his charges better and ensure they reach the starting gates on time to avoid stricter disciplinary action. Jockey Nikhil Naidu reported that his mount CASHMERE SILK which jumped outwards from the gates, was hanging out from about the 600 metres of the race. Tr. Sabeel Shariff was advised to take immediate remedial measures in consultation with the Veterinary Doctor. |
