It was reported after the race that THE WELCOME (H M Akshay) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Surender G T was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

	Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Zulquarnain H to withdraw KING D (A Ashhad Asbar) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from infection. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Somashekar K was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey Sah Farid Ansari, the rider of ELSA reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination. On examination, it was found to have sustained bleeding cut injury inside right hind pastern.
