Manvendra Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work. It was observed that the ‘hood’ used on CHIARA came off partially as the start was effected and was pulled off by App P Tejeshwar within a few strides. The Starter was informed to advise his gate staff to be more alert in future. |

Further the gelding was very fractious while being stalled and was slow to begin. Tr. Javed Khan was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again. |

Taking into consideration that the above lapse was noticed by the Trainer himself, his acceptance of a very grave negligence on his part, the genuineness of the human error involved, Tr. Vijay Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 15,000/. |

| | Jockey R S Bhati, the rider of YAHALLA, reported that his mount was not striding out fluently during the final furlong of the race, particularly from the hind, as such he eased up his mount. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the filly and report ailment, if any. On examination the Veterinary Officer reported that the filly suffered from hindquarter lameness, with signs of paraplegia just after the running of the race on 8th September, 2021, due to suspected spinal cord injury and has been kept under observation. Subsequent to the race day, the Veterinary Officer reported that despite providing all necessary veterinary care and managements, YAHALLA failed to recover. As such the filly was euthanized on humanitarian grounds on 09.09.2021. |
