Sequeira that his instructions were to sit 5th,6th and give clear run from outside, but as his mount jumped out slowly and took time to get into strides, he could not position as instructed in the initial stages of the race and was in a striking position from about the 700 mtrs and thereafter he shifted out to give him a clear run as instructed but his mount did not raise a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer while confirming the above added that his mount ran in a similar way in the previous run and today the track being soft, his charge might not have liked the going as such the poor performance was noted for future reference |
